Wow, first new car in 9 years (Kia K5 In-Line, premium pkg) Need to go to school to learn all the new technology and safety features. Justin was great help in jump starting me. Choose to finance with dealership because of rate. I don't have an "emergency fund' so wanted to protect my investment. Purchased Gap Insurance to protect against Total Loss over term of my lone. Kia has 60,000 bumbler-to-bumper warranty then Powertrain up to 100,000. I drive over 15,000/yr+ so purchased service contrast giving me bumper-to-bumper protection for 10 yrs/100,000. I now feel protected against unforeseen problems. I want service dept staff to know my vehicle so I"m sticking with Kia Atlanta South. Randy C More

What's more I provided a kit I bought since I was planning to do the job myself and I had on hand all the belts and parts recommended. The kit was in my van and I told the service personnel that the kit was there so they would use it. My kit was not in my vehicle when I received it but upon inspection the belts that I can see are not new. It makes me wonder if they used any of the other parts, except, perhaps, the timing belt. I don't believe the water pump was replace because there is no sign that the liquid in the radiator was changed or touched in any way. These people are not honest and I will see if I can place a complain in the Better Business Bureau. I need to find out if they did not do as was agreed since I want to make sure that if anything happens to my vehicle, they are responsible. More

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!! Cannot believe this dealership is still running! My Husband and I left feeling completely insulted! We told them when we first came in that we had a set budget, the cars salesman said that was fine and everything was a go, went back to sign papers after being there for hours and hours, and the lady said did they tell you what the payments are going to be? We told her no that they never really discussed that with us, which is weird because that is usually done before going to sign the final paperwork. She said the payments were going to be $170.00 more than the top dollar amount that we could spend. They actually laughed at us, in front of our faces, which is completely uncalled for! Needless to say, we walked out of there super angry and upset After spending about 3-4 hours there! Oh and also, I went to the ladies room to use the bathroom, handicap stall had things floating in the water (who knows what it was) and then the other stall had sticky urine all over the seat! Who wants to sit down on that!? I am pregnant and had to hold my bladder because their bathrooms weren't clean enough to use! Oh and a lit candle on the bathroom counter? Isn't that a fire hazard? They must have put the candle in their to cover up the nasty smell from the 500 day old urine! My Husband used the men's room and said it smelled horrible. No candle lit in there! Needless to say, because of this experience this dealership will NEVER get any of our business and we will advise everyone we know to stay FAR AWAY! More

Horrible place to buy or deal with! Nothing but problems since I bought my Optima Turbo. I have basically new insides, multi sets of new tires. In the 3 months my car replacement parts a Nothing but problems since I bought my Optima Turbo. I have basically new insides, multi sets of new tires. In the 3 months my car replacement parts are cvvt's, cams, shafts. Replaced exhaust and now had to have a new engine! The answers I'm given are NOT correct and I feel things are getting covered up!! Why would you replace an engine and not drive it after its installed?? But it sits in the bay for 2 hours idling?!? Why would they tell 3 adults that they do not report to car fax when asked about the deprecation since all this work has been done?!? Most my questions that was ask to kia south Atlanta was also ask to kia head quarters and was given 2 different answers and this makes me very uncomfortable!! I have contacted many individuals about this issue and south Atlanta kia will do nothing and kia head quarters will do the work under warrenty! But what about when the warrenty runs out! What about where all theses problems started from? What is the route cause? I contacted others outside the dealership and was told to start first with the General Manager. I called and spoke to the general manager, Micheal Jackson, as I was broke down on the side of the road ( the 2nd time ) waiting on them to send a wrecker and loaner about getting me out of the car. I was told we could trade. I ask about my deposit, $$ I have put in the car, I don't want my payments to go up? And then what are they going to do with my car? Mr. Jackson said he was not in control of any of that and the care would be resold! 3 hours later, no wrecker came, no loaner was brought!!! Nothing!!! I've spoke to Kim, their service manager and she is willing to replace and fix anything through the warrenty!!! But again, why is this happening?? The cause? Not just playing A guessing game!! So my smooth ruining car is now driving rough, sounds terrible and nothing is wrong but it never, ever ran like this before!!! I'm tired of feeling like I just got screwed and it's my problem!! Why is the dealership not standing behind the vehicle they sold me? What about Kia head quarters standing behind their name? What a shame!! Never buy from South Atlanta Kia!! They are absolutely HORRIBLE!!! Kia does not stand behind the Vehicle:( More

The KIA dealer at Southlake has very poor customer service. I bought my KIA new in 2011 (with zero miles). The car was purchased 3/2011. Three months after I purchased the car the check engine light c service. I bought my KIA new in 2011 (with zero miles). The car was purchased 3/2011. Three months after I purchased the car the check engine light came on 08./2011. Even though I asked for another car they refused to give me another vehicle. I told them that I thought I was sold a defective vehicle. I was told that recall updates had to be performed and that was the reason for the check engine light. Within a couple of months the check engine light came on again. This time the new car gave a bad transmission code. I demanded a new transmission and they refused. They only did something to make the engine light go off. The customer service department acted as if they didn't care. Today I went because the check engine light was on again. I sat from 11:30 am until 3:00 pm. They never came to give me an update on my car but allowed me to just sit there. Finally, after I went to the counter several times, they told me that they performed an upgrade that took 2 hours. They promised that the light was off. However, I got into the car at 3:00 and the check engine light was still on. By 4:00 I was told that I would need a new computer system or they would have to call technical support to try to figure out why my light won't go off. This is a new car. I feel that they try to take advance of women customers. They told me that I would have to bring my car back later when they contact me. I asked for a loaner car and they refused. I also talked to someone in management and they refused to give me a loaner and didn't seem to care about my issue. It feels terrible to buy a new car and feel that you are being taken advantage of. The customer service at KIA Atlanta South was not good. More
Hard to bargain. Hid the window sticker I got it after I called the Manager it had an additional $1200.00 of hidden charges on it. My wife loved the car so I bought it anyway.
