About two months ago, I brought by Sorrento in for it's 8k mile service along with a few recalls that needed attention. I alerted the now former service person that my collision sensor was malfunctioning. 8k mile service along with a few recalls that needed attention. I alerted the now former service person that my collision sensor was malfunctioning. I was told that it was damaged and I needed to replace it, and it would cost over $1300 as the warranty would not cover it. Mind you, there was no visible damage to the car. When my insurance examiner came to the see the car, he didn't see any damage either. He only granted me $50 for the repairs. As it happens, the part was on back order for a few weeks. During that time, there was a change in service people, enter Jasmin Henry. I had the pleasure of working with Jasmin when the part came in and I expressed my displeasure of the "phantom" damage causing me to have to shell out over $1300. She took control of the situation, had my vehicle re-checked and discovered that, not only did the part not need replacing, it was not even damaged. It just needed to be recalibrated. Ms. Henry's problem-solving skilled saved me a lot of money and I would give my full endorsement of her. She's definitely a keeper. More
