We weren't pressured to buy immediately or up-sold more expensive cars. The Rav4 was in great condition and shape and Norm helped us through the whole process with ease. Everyone there was wonderful to deal with and we didn't feel hassled or ripped off at any part of the process. We got a great deal and enjoyed the process. More

Excellent experience overall I can’t say enough about my pleasurable experience at KIA motors in West Ashley. Lance, who was our salesman, had been recommended from my family who I can’t say enough about my pleasurable experience at KIA motors in West Ashley. Lance, who was our salesman, had been recommended from my family who recently bought a new KIA from this specific dealership. Lance has different techniques than your typical salesman. None of that, there is another offer on your car hogwash. He keeps it real and delivers an excellent customer service experience, and genuinely puts his customers car search criteria in mind. If you tell Lance what you want to spend, he will make sure he thoroughly searches his inventory for the perfect fit. Earlier that day at different dealerships, I ran in to some nightmarish experiences. I drove two cars which were on the lot that had “just been bought,” that they had a similar car for a little more money but with like 50k more miles that they were trying to push me in to buying. At the next dealership, I told the salesman my price range and he started showing me vehicles about 10k over what I said I was willing to spend. This is not something you will run in to at KIA motors with Lance and his team. Also, KIA has some killer cars these days. If you get a chance take a seat in the Stinger they have. Oh baby, that thing is slick! More

Incredible Customer Service So, I don't do this very often, but every once in a while, I encounter a situation where I am ABSOLUTELY BLOWN AWAY by the customer service I receive, So, I don't do this very often, but every once in a while, I encounter a situation where I am ABSOLUTELY BLOWN AWAY by the customer service I receive, that I HAVE to share about it so that all my friends can have the chance to experience the same! One of those times has been over the past week or two during our recent car-buying experience. Steven M. Mellish, or "Papa Steve", as my girls now call him, delivered what was far and away the best car-buying experience I have ever had! We presented some major challenges, like limited finances, limited credit, and needing a quality car, with room, with low miles! He never batted an eye! His knowledge goes beyond just the cars on the sales floor...he has extensive knowledge of the financing process, which proved to be invaluable for us! He is professional, friendly, and absolutely NO PRESSURE! Not to mention, he went totally over and above the call of duty by having goodies for our girls each time we came by! When the financing didn't work out exactly how we wanted, he continued to work to find something for us, and ended up putting us in a car that was well beyond what we thought we'd be able to get! He even helped talk me through how to effectively deal with my insurance company on my settlement offer from the wreck and, because of his guidance, I was able to secure $3000 more than what they initially offered me! So, all that tells what an awesome job Steve did for us. But, honestly, what blew me away the most, is how much he genuinely cares about the people he serves. That shined through in every visit, every phone call, and every conversation. I knew, from my very first conversation, that he was going to take care of us. And not because he wanted to sell a car. It was because he genuinely cared and wanted to help us during a pretty difficult time and process. I've heard people rate barbecue restaurants by how far people are willing to drive for it. You might hear "that's 200 mile BBQ right there" or "hmmm, that's only about 25 mile BBQ". Well, if I were to rate Steve on the same scale, I can honestly say that he delivers a 500 mile car buying experience! I was really on the fence about driving all the way to see him, when we have so many options right here in Columbia. But let me tell you, it is 100% WORTH IT! If you need a car, or know someone who does, I would HIGHLY recommend sending them to Steve! I know I'll never buy from anyone else ever again! Thanks again, Steve, for all the hard work you put in for us! We could not be happier with what we got and, even more importantly, we are so glad that you're now part of our "family"! More
