Located in SAvannah, Ga and working well over 70 hours a week, did not leave me much time to find what we were looking for, let alone drive over 100mi to go see something we were interested. Sam, met us hal week, did not leave me much time to find what we were looking for, let alone drive over 100mi to go see something we were interested. Sam, met us halfway with the vehicle, and was never pushy. Once we agreed to purchase the car, Sam delivered the vehicle (100+ miles away), we signed the paperwork, and off he went. The following day I noted a problem with the car, and Sam began setting up arrangments to ensure it was repaired. We are still in process of working on the repair logistics, but Sam has set something up (he'll come pick up the car) to ensure my satisfaction! In all my years, I have never had a salesman as professional and understanding as Sam, Good job Sam! More
We recently purchased our second vehicle from your dealership for our daughter who was going away to college. We based our decision to use Kia on our past great experiences with my Wife's Kia and Kia dealership for our daughter who was going away to college. We based our decision to use Kia on our past great experiences with my Wife's Kia and Kia of Charleston. Our experience was ,as expected, great with the sales department. The service department was just the opposite. Although the vehicle we bought was used, it had very low mileage and appeared to be in good mechanical order. The Service Dept took 4 or 5 days to get the car "in shape" which included some body work. The Sales dept was most accomodating, even loaning a car for our use and personally delivering our car to my daughter in Beaufort. (Really great customer service). The issues began with the Service dept when the "check engine"light came on in the car and it began to have problems starting. Service deemed the issue to be spark plugs. Soon thereafter the light came on again and same symptoms began. Here's where the Service Dept failed miserably. My wife was told "the whole engine bay is visibly sparking like a Christmas tree from the ignition coil". My wife asked why,if just recently the car had been checked over twice, this problem was not found. The technician stated in a condascending tone" well, repairing cars is like treating sick people" and began an analogy to car repain and medicine. My wife informed this person that not only was she a therapist, her husband (myself) is a trauma nurse and his tone was unappreciated. Not once was her question regarding diagnosing the car answered in a straightforward manner. Three days later I brought my daughter to pick up her car, paid another 100 dollar deductable for service that should have beeen done right initially and left. But not before popping the hood and looking things over myself (I'm not an ASE mechanic, but I have rebuilt a few engines and trucks in my day and know my way around )> I don't think your technicians liked me insepcting their work, but what do you expect. Within 30 minute the light was back on and my daughter returned to Kia (as instructed by myself)and met by my wife. Once again the car was repaired( promptly this time as it was a blown fuse... I'm sure the wanted them gone). So the question is : my daughter leaves for Virginia on Friday, if the car breaks down how do you plan on alleviating the problem professionally without an attitude to my family. Furthermore one would think that since we bought a warrantee with the car it would encourage you to fix it right the first time. Seems like you have lost some money and time somewhere in this process. Rest assured we have only high praises for the Sales Team and will most likely use Kia for another car in the future. Your Service dept has proven itself lately to be rude to my family and almost as inept as Palmetto Ford's service Dept. More
Very easy to work with. Made the deal I wanted - no nonsense, no hassle. Very smooth and quick process. Whole process took less than an hour as compared to Stokes Automotive in N. Charleston, where p nonsense, no hassle. Very smooth and quick process. Whole process took less than an hour as compared to Stokes Automotive in N. Charleston, where purchasing a new vehicle is a 5 hour process. This dealership had a good selection and had the model and features I wanted in stock. Car was delivered clean, with a full tank of gas, and they took the time to go over all the features of my new vehicle. Highly recommend this dealer! More
I was very impressed I wss taken on time (despite a full waiting room), and the work was finished on time. A most auspicious start to my relationship with Kia service. waiting room), and the work was finished on time. A most auspicious start to my relationship with Kia service. More
Went in the mpg rebate - which was handled. Service dept recommended software upograde which was completed in the estimated time. Our car does seem to shift somewhat better - although it was good before. recommended software upograde which was completed in the estimated time. From the moment we walked into Kia Country of Charleston, we knew we were in for a good experience. We were greeted by several people and first approached by Jermaine White. We explained to him that we had we knew we were in for a good experience. We were greeted by several people and first approached by Jermaine White. We explained to him that we had just started that week to look at new vehicles, and that we had done some on line research about Kia's. We first looked at the Sportage, but after answering some questions on our planed use, Jermaine told us of some special pricing on the Sorrento that would put it into our budget range and probably suit our needs better. After looking at a floor model and asking some questions, we had a thorough test drive. Jermaine was very knowledgeable about the vehicle, the warranty, and answered all our questions to our satisfaction. We got a ballpark price quote, including our Costco member savings, and told him that we wanted to think over our choices, as we had test driven two other brands that week already. After going home and fully considering all our choices, including the features and warranty on all, we decided to purchase the 2013 Kia Sorrento. The next day we called Jermaine and scheduled an appointment for that Saturday to come in, complete the paperwork, and pick up our new vehicle. On Saturday, all went as hoped, with working with Jeremy, the sales manager. He was quite clear on all our purchase options, including the fact that if we decided to finance a part of the vehicle, we would be receiving additional oil changes at no cost for 35,000 miles. After all was completed, Jermaine introduced us to members of the service department, and we made our 90-day appointment. We have since been back for one small item, and it was quickly taken care of at no cost to us. We definitely recommend Kia Country and Jermaine White. More
My wife had a terrible experience. She came in for a scheduled oil change. Paid $100.00 to have the oil change, tire rotation and she asked for the car to be vacuumed. She had the first two accomplished scheduled oil change. Paid $100.00 to have the oil change, tire rotation and she asked for the car to be vacuumed. She had the first two accomplished but then had to wait 2 hours for someone to just vacuum the car. She watched car after car drive into the service department after the driver voted. These cars kept being pushed ahead of her until she finally had to leave to go vote. No one seemed to care. She inquired multiple times as to why she was being passed over. The same response ‘I am sorry’. This is not a good answer for me. We purchased the car from your dealership. We were promised great service. We did not comprehend great service meant that people driving off the streets came first when you were there. What a terrible way to treat a Kia owner who is paying. I truly believe that everyone should vote. I like that you rewarded people who voted. But it sucks that the current paying customer is throw to the back seat. Even more when it is my wife! I suggest someone needs to repair the damage cause by the service department. If she is not satisfied by the time another service check arrives. You can bet it will not be Kia Country that gets the job. You can also bet that I will spread the word. You see my problem is I do not know when to keep my mouth quite. And I do love social media. So don’t call me, someone better call her. 843-810-5368 More
The used cars on Kia Country's lot are even better than average for a franchise dealership. All of the cars were in great condition and priced at or around Kelley Blue Book pricing. (I did my homework.) Ha average for a franchise dealership. All of the cars were in great condition and priced at or around Kelley Blue Book pricing. (I did my homework.) Harry Bannister was an excellent salesman, never using pressure tactics or"sales speak" but making me comfortable and confident in my purchase. After my first visit to a few dealerships, Kia Country was the only dealership I wanted to go back to a second time. Then it became a matter of finding a good used car in my price range, which luckily they had. They made it a no-hassle experience and worked to get me into the car with a better APR than I had going in. It was a pleasure to work with this dealership and Harry -- no fast talking, just good cars and friendly people. If I had one complaint, it's that the car was overly Febreezed to cover up, I think, some dog smell. I am sure that will go away, like a new car smell, in a few months. More
I walked into Kia Country expecting to be treated like I was at all the other dealerships, with poor credit and very little to put down it was all the same "Sorry but we can not do anything for you" story, was at all the other dealerships, with poor credit and very little to put down it was all the same "Sorry but we can not do anything for you" story, but to my surprise I was immediately greeted by Robert who took the reigns and lead me to Elijah. Elijah was extremely helpful with finding a car that fit my budget and that I actually liked! After a few days of tossing numbers around with Elijah and Brian, after all their hard work, they got me into a car that to this day (a week later)still has me grinning ear to ear. I highly recommend these guys to anyone shopping for a car new or used, they will put in a ton of effort to try and save you as much money as possible, good or bad credit. I am beyond please with my 09 Mazda3! More
