I was quoted a price on a new Sorento online. After several back and forth emails confirming that the vehicle was what I was looking for we drove to the dealership (over 50 miles) to view and test driv several back and forth emails confirming that the vehicle was what I was looking for we drove to the dealership (over 50 miles) to view and test drive. The salesperson was fine everything progressed until she a returned from the sales manager with a price that was thousand more than I had been quoted. I provided her with a copy of the emails. She again went to the sales manager and returned saying it was a different vehicle. By now I was ready to leave however they continued to hold my keys. The sales manager came over and informed me that even though it was their mistake they would not honor the quoted price. When I said "fine give me my keys and we will leave" he became extremely rude and somewhat agitated that I would not take the vehicle for two thousand more than I was quoted. Needless to say this was the worst experience with an auto dealership that I have ever encountered in my 71 years. Bait and switch has never been acceptable but that is what this guy was xxxx bent to do. Kia Country, never again. More
