Service Call My air conditioner went out on a brand new, 144 mile Kia Soul Plus, and I kept getting this "sweet" smell from the engine. I called and was told to b My air conditioner went out on a brand new, 144 mile Kia Soul Plus, and I kept getting this "sweet" smell from the engine. I called and was told to bring the car in. When I got into the car to drive to Grieco Kia, the air conditioner was working but, I decided to bring it in anyway. Luckily for me that I did because, about a block away from the dealership, I received a notice on the screen from Engine Control System - Possible Engine Condition. They took it into the service bay and I waited for the "diagnosis." It was a crack in the coolant housing. They told me that they needed to order the part, they gave me a loaner, and I went home. I was pleasantly surprised to get a phone call the next day, telling me that the car was repaired! I must admit, I'm a bit leary that a brand new car could have a problem like this right away, so I'm keeping an eye on it. The people I came in contact with couldn't have been any nicer! The car is running well - so far, so good! Thank you, Grieco Kia! More
