I called to schedule an oil change for my 2013 Kia Soul that I purchased from a different dealership. There was a mix up & I was told to come in on a Sunday at 10am when the service department was actually that I purchased from a different dealership. There was a mix up & I was told to come in on a Sunday at 10am when the service department was actually closed which I found out when I showed up. I called the dealership later that day to reschedule for Mon. When I got there & explained what happened, the service manager apologized honestly & comped my oil change with out even being asked. He treated me with complete respect as did the rest of the staff. They were all extremely friendly, courteous & respectful. They made sure I had fresh coffee, turned on the TV in the waiting are for me & washed my car. All completed in a very timely manner. Possibly the best auto service experience I've ever had. Truly great customer service. That is how you take a negative experience & make it so positive that you secure a permanent customer! More

I think the prices are extremely high. Every time I turn around, it isn't another $400.00' even with a discount coupon. The gentleman who greets people is so nice! He is great! I did call a couple of weeks ago. The service person didn't even know what size tire I needed for my vehicle. I needed 2 new tires. This is pretty disturbing to me. He said he would call me back. 3 weeks later, still no phone call. I went to Costco and was told immediately what size tires I needed. The tires were in stock and an hour later, I had the new tires put on, wheels rotated and balanced. This is a small cozy dealership. I like that, but the workers need to be trained properly to give out good reliable information. If they say will call back, I totally expect a call back, even if to say they don't know. Just a little courtesy goes a long way. I will begin searching for an authorized repair shop. More

On my first visit everyone was very busy, but when my turn came they were very friendly and helpful in dealing with my problem!! Went to dealership to get touch up paint for scratches. Since I had "canals", they told me it would not do the job. Instead, they helped with putting some compound and buffing it out. If I could give them 10-stars I would! Staff at Kia Sherman Oaks is first-rate, knowledgeable, and keen on customer-service. My past experience with mechanics/ car service providers is that if I didn't pack a lunch I was screwed -- and that's even if I'd gotten there before 8AM. It was always a long, drawn out event, in a dreary waiting room that was later punctuated by my having to pay through the nose. The Kia Team is efficient, expediant, reasonably-priced, and thorough. I always leave there feeling very secure in my super-clean car. Oh, I forgot to mention: They even wash my Soul beautifully before giving it back to me! Love them! More

After my very negative experiences with the sharks at other dealerships on Van Nuys Blvd over the years, this was one of the most pleasant places to work with.
