xxxxTIEST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER CAME ACROSS!! I took my 05 Kia Sportage here for a diagnostic test. RICARDO HERNANDEZ was my service advisor.. he informed me that there were two options for my car took my 05 Kia Sportage here for a diagnostic test. RICARDO HERNANDEZ was my service advisor.. he informed me that there were two options for my car problem. 1 was to change the CAMSHAFT SENSOR which may or may not be the problem which was fine because if that wasn't the case I would proceed with the second option as he referred to as a "engine breakdown" to look further into it. With that being said I was called because my car was ready 1/19/2022 from getting the sensor changed. NOT EVEN A MILE IN ON THE 405 FREEWAY IN 5pm TRAFFIC THE CAR STALLS ON ME! The reason why I am so pissed is because the car wasn't tested AFTER changing it to the new CAMSHAFT SENSOR!!!! My life was in dangered on the freeway !! I had a BIG xxx BIG RIG BEHIND ME WHO COULD'VE SMACKED ME FROM BEHIND!!!!!! If the car was tested after replacing the camshaft sensor you would've experienced it stalling on the service advisor and we could've moved forward with the next option the "engine breakdown". Speaking to RICARDO HERNANDEZ after the situation he was so nonchalant about it saying how the parts would be off market pieces and wouldn't be able to find. I have been calling FOR OVER A WEEK ABOUT MY COMPLAINT!!! I keep getting transferred to a voicemail to BRAD WHO IS THE SERVICE MANAGER!! I left voicemails and I now notice he has the audacity to change his voicemail from " IM HELPING OUT WITH OTHER LOCATIONS DUE TO COVID AND SHORT STAFFING" to "Please leave a voicemail with you name & date & time.. if it's an emergency please speak with Eric & someone else" so you can change your voicemail but not call the people back that left actual voicemail messages? nobody is buying a car like that where you can't reply back to a customer NOW GOING ON WEEK TWO! I do not feel like my matter is being taken seriously and I'm HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS LOCATION AND THEIR TRASH xxx CUSTOMER SERVICE. DO NOT GO HERE! More

DON’T GO HERE!! I called Kia immediately after finding the scratches And expressed my concerns with Jesse who passed me off to Eddie. After calling and leaving 3 voicemails for both of them throughout the month with NO RESPONSE I finally call back and get a hold of them then they passed me off to Brad who I left a voicemail for and NEVER heard back. I can not believe after them damaging my car and using it as a trash bag that I’m the one who has to keep following up to hear nothing back. I am disgusted with this place and how they run their business. This is not how they should treat people who trust them with their cars! Worst part I can’t even sell the car for what it’s worth since THEIR scratches devalued it! HORRIBLE. More

Every single experience I've had was completely unacceptable. They don't call back when they say they will. That doesn't seem awful until you've literally waited for hours and have tried numerous t unacceptable. They don't call back when they say they will. That doesn't seem awful until you've literally waited for hours and have tried numerous times to contact them. Employees are unprofessional, rude and act as if they dislike their jobs. They had my vehicle for 5 1/2 hours yesterday. I've had to go to the dealership to get any information after dropping it off for an appointment. When we got there, they were literally sitting, looking at their phones. The service person, Luis Villa, admitted to me that the car was never in the service area. He diagnosed the issue and told me how much it would cost and they would need the car for a week. When we asked him about why it'd taken more than five hours to call back when he said he'd call in 2 hours, he said, "oh sorry, we got busy". He didn't even know that I'd returned to the dealership to get an update, and was talking with him from their waiting room. I'm in shock. It's as if they have absolutely no supervision, and they really could care less. That certainly shows. I was there 3 weeks ago, having a factory recall repaired. Yuri Sanchez was the worst person to deal with. I could write pages about how incompetent she is. She was also my "service advisor" on 2 other occasions. A repair on the A/C and a service replacing a defunct radio. Every time I had to work with her, there was some "snafu" and she blamed all problems on someone else. After this many issues, I'm thinking it's fair to say I've been more than patient. There is no basic understanding of customer service at Kia of Carson. I won't ever go back to this dealership for any reason. Writing this is long overdue. More

Took my 2017 optima hybrid in for engine knocking noise on 8/26/21 the next day got a message stating the tech had checked it and it was done. They informed me the tech wanted to check right lower passenger side of bumper to see if the engine knocking was coming from there I needed to authorize 2 1/2 hours (498$) More for the year down! I went to the dealership and had the service advisor to call the tech and ask if I could go on the test drive to show him what I heard once he had that he said it was a MisDiagnose and I needed a new engine, fast forward to Oct 13 (car been at dealership for 1 1/2 months) they text me saying the tech can’t finish my car because my battery is dead, I informed them it wasn’t dead when I drove it in there, called and Lia USA and informed them of this second attempt of fraud within and got text saying as a one good will they covered it got a text This morning 11/2/21 your car is ready for pick up I go down pay for the repairs and wait over an hour for them to bring me my car they never came I go to speak to the manager and they go look at last the same service advisor comes and say that they made a mistake and now I need a whole hybrid batter at the cost of 5727$ I’m like WOW! Then they in form me that my extended warranty does not cover it! This is a nightmare that refuse to go away . I’m in the process of finding a lawyer to file a suit against these people from the top of this dealership to the bottom it’s bad everything I have I have documents to back up . DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM KIA OF CARSON OR ANY KIA DEALERSHIP ITS ALL THE SAME. More
My husband and I purchased a 2016 Kia Optima from Carmax and in less than 5 months, there was an issue with the starter. The car was still under warranty but Carmax advised that we need to take it directly and in less than 5 months, there was an issue with the starter. The car was still under warranty but Carmax advised that we need to take it directly to the Kia dealer to fix, so we took it to Trophy Kia of Carson in December 2020. We needed a loaner which Carmax could not offer at the time. So, the service department advised us that if we went to Enterprise and got a rental, once the car is ready we would be reimbursed for the rental. Since December, I have called and emailed numerous times, but to no avail. Finally, last week ( and I don't why it took me so long to do this) I actually go up to the service department and found out they made the decision to deny my reimbursement back in March 2021 due to some policy. First of all, I was never notified of this decision...and secondly WHY am I being denied??!! Why aren't your employees trained on this "policy"? Now I feel like I have been cheated out of $200 and I really just want MY MONEY BACK!!!!! More
Just a horrible customer service. We sat for over an hour in our car and not even one service advisor had approached us to tell that they will be with us shortly. Over an hour, yet when I approached the mana in our car and not even one service advisor had approached us to tell that they will be with us shortly. Over an hour, yet when I approached the manager of service department to let him know our frustration. He said, because we were just walk in, they have to finish servicing those with appointments. Understandable, but why are we not being told ahead of time that such is the process? Frankly I will not recommend Kia customer service to anyone I know. This is just totally unacceptable. I am planning to sell this car when able and never even bother to consider buying another Kia period. 12 service advisors in a given day and not even one says helllo or hi and yet they are just tinkering on their cell phones or computers pretending to be busy. What a terrible experience we had. More
