When checking in the Service Rep told me that there was also a new software update avaialble f I took my Jeep in to have a new key cut an programmed. Adding remote start and bedrails to 2016 Dodge 2500 Diesel It is an 1.5 hour trip to this dealer for me. I decide to get the aftermarket items here, because I bought the vehicle here. I arrived at 7:30am for It is an 1.5 hour trip to this dealer for me. I decide to get the aftermarket items here, because I bought the vehicle here. I arrived at 7:30am for an 8am appointment. I was told the work would take about 4 hours and was provided a vehicle so I would not have to wait around the shop. I arrived back around noon and turned in the loaner vehicle and was told shorly there after that it would be another 1.5 hours. When my vehicle was finished, it was raining extremely hard and I was unable to survey the work completed. On the way home, I was able to stop and look at the bed rails and I was extremely disappointed in the work done. The bed rails are supposed to fit into a grommet that sits on top of the bed side. Both rails have part of the grommet rolled under the bed rail exposing the edge of the rail. I called the service department and will be bringing it back for repair next weekend. It is extremely disappointing to have to make the 1.5 hour trip back to the dealer and sit and wait again for the job to be fixed correctly. For the rates being charged (115/hour) the job should be done right the first time. My time is valuable also. More
