I highly recommend Kirby Subaru. After doing research on Consumer Reports I was pretty sure I wanted a Subaru for my new car. I contacted Kirby and they set up an appointment for me the following day. Austin Dietz showed me a couple of different models which we test drove. He was very informative and took me around to look at various models and color options. A very positive initial encounter! I needed to do some more research to decide exactly what I wanted, and there was no pressure to rush me into a deal, and questions were answered when I had them. I feel this is a positive way to do business. When I knew which model I wanted I went back for another test drive with Austin. He helped me get the car I truly wanted, and it was a pleasure working with him. The purchasing process was very smooth, and at a later date I went back for the Love Encore session with J P, which was very valuable to help me get more comfortable with features that were new to me. I left feeling more confident and knowing there were people ready to answer any further questions…which honestly is great because the car has a lot of features that were new to me. More
They were very good about fixing my car but when I picked it up, my air conditioning wasn’t working. They told me that the button was not on for the network, but I’m telling you right now. I took a test drive and viewed the various color choices. Rather than leaving to think over my choices, we found an exceptional deal too good to pass up. Gabby Hernandez met us as soon as we arrived; She went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed during our short wait, and I was able to catch up with some of the people I met when choosing my car. It was touching that so many of the staff members remembered my name, asked about my family, and, of course, everyone gave love and attention to The Bossdog Junior, our dog. It truly was the best customer service just as it is every time I go to Kirby Subaru of Ventura for my car needs. I cannot say enough kind things about their staff, their facilities, their products and their services. I was offered amenities, and the restrooms were clean and cool. Everybody welcomed us with a smile, with kindness and with an eagerness to help us in any way they could. We enjoyed a park bench in their fenced in dog park, the Kirby Subaru Dog Park--with fresh water and treats, and afterwards, we had time to stop by the ocean and enjoy our afternoon at the beach. Did not appreciate a sales call from the sales dept while my car was in for warranty repair. Totally bush league. Will never buy from this dealership as a result. I went in to Kirby in Ventura for my regular service and was told they could not raise my car because of my after market rock sliders I added. They could not do the tire rotation, break check and alignment. was told they could not raise my car because of my after market rock sliders I added. I went back a few weeks late to do my 30.000 mile service and Sam service advisor actually took my Forrester wilderness to their next door shop had it raised and got it all done. A few days later the girl that turned me away called me as a courtesy call and apologized for the confusion and that from now on I would not have that issue anymore. I have to admit that is true Kirby service More
