A very long wait for a wonderful car I was one of those who purchased a VW diesel vehicle. In my case it was a 2011 Golf which was paid off. In early October I read about the new Alltrack and my husband and I were very excited with the SEL features. We ordered one in early October. Our sales associate Kyle Spina gave us no indication that it would not be ready by December when we were scheduled to turn in our diesel Golf. Imagine our extreme frustration when we learned that we would not receive it until late March. Five months is a very long time for a car order. Kyle was very apologetic and while he promised to keep me posted about the status of our order, I found that I had to contact him most times. I would have appreciated more follow up when he said he would. On the other hand, Kyle is very knowledgeable about all the bells and whistles of the Alltrack and did a wonderful job orienting me to the vehicle. Andrew in Finance was very helpful and gave us an additional $1,000 off and a loaner car for ten days to tide us over after we turned in the diesel. Rich Young, head of sales, was sympathetic to our frustration with the delay but did not seem to be able to speed up the delivery. My husband and I have purchased four vehicles from Young over the years. I love the service department and this is a very strong reason that I have stayed with Young. More
