I would suggest that whoever does business with this dealership closely monitor the car they are looking for. Had I not called them to inquire/follow-up about the security deposit being put down on the car I would have made a two hour trip for nothing. Wouldn't give this dealership my business ever again. I had been hunting for months for a good used car and was experiencing the same lying, sleazy, car salesman’s tactics at almost every dealership I ha I had been hunting for months for a good used car and was experiencing the same lying, sleazy, car salesman’s tactics at almost every dealership I had come across. It had been about after 4 months of my stressful search and trips to multiple dealerships across Long Island and Queens when I found Koeppel Hyundai and met ALI, AN ANGEL OF A SALESMAN who finally ended my car saga. I told Ali I was frustrated with all the scams and the bait and switch tactics I was being presented with once I arrived at the previous dealerships. As a young female, I feel like I was stereotyped right off the bat at other dealerships, where the employees thought I wasn’t knowledgeable and that they could scam me and pull the wool over my eyes. Little did they know… which would end in dramatics and me calling them out for being scam artists. From the moment I met Ali I could sense right away he had good energy and is genuinely a good person at heart who wants to help people. He was honest, upfront, and a straight shooter -everything you want in a cars salesman. Ali listened diligently to all my concerns and what features were important to me for my first car ever. He never tried to push vehicles that were out of my price range or didn’t match what I was looking for (which I had experienced at other dealerships). Ali gave me multiple options of a few vehicles that fit my criteria and worked with me on multiple occasions for hours at a time to narrow down my choices. I never felt rushed or that I couldn’t ask multiple questions. The entire process was seamless and Ali truly made what could have been another headache and stressful experience, a fun and enjoyable one. He took care of EVERYTHING and I mean everything A-Z. He would take the time to go over my own checklists and thoroughly break things down when I didn’t understand. As a first time car buyer it was important to me that I understood everything that was occurring throughout the entire process and Ali never let me down. I felt so reassured. He is extremely intelligent and well versed in not just the sales side of this business, but is very knowledgeable about the vehicles themselves including the parts, functions, and inner workings.
