They didn't disclose the big scratch on the roof and the warranties being placed on it. It took over month to get my registration and im still waiting on my money back plus the warranties to come off. I even had to use a bank instead because that's the only way I could get a decent price. Rick was the only one who stepped up to help with all this. More
The general manager Rick went an above and beyond to help me with a misunderstanding in the paperwork when I purchased my vehicle a few months back. Dishonest and sleazy. What a horrible experience. Obviously, no car was purchased. Something that was entirely due to the lack of respect from the sales manager Manny, What a horrible experience. Obviously, no car was purchased. Something that was entirely due to the lack of respect from the sales manager Manny, on down to the salesperson. I would put the name of the salesperson, but it doesn’t matter. Every detail or request ran straight through Manny anyway. The reason for our visit was so my girlfriend could purchase a new car from this disrespectful dealership. She had notes, she had her research, and she knew what she wanted. This was all communicated from the start and repeatedly during the “negotiation” process. She had notes, listened carefully, and communicated what she wanted one simple question or statement at a time. Unfortunately, I was forced to stare at my phone and fact check and run numbers so that the salesperson would make eye contact with my girlfriend at all. Somehow, she took it in stride, even as her questions were completely ignored, or she was given inaccurate or false answers to the questions that were worthy of a response. For example, we openly talked about the processing fees listed under the government fees on the printouts the salesperson produced. When asked about them, after this open discussion, the salesperson said that they were government processing fees. This is utterly false. After my girlfriend asked about them two more times, telling him she felt they were being dishonest, they said, “Well any dealership will charge you that.” No apologies, no direct admission that it was an attempt to deceive her. “Savings” disappeared on the cost breakdown after she refused an extended protection plan. When she pointed out that they weren’t “savings” the salesperson went back in to see Manny. Miraculously the “Savings” reappeared! Does that seem like an honest way to present information to a person about to invest a significant amount of money in a vehicle? Strangely, her credit score, after they ran it, was exactly at the cutoff for a higher interest rate. Just one point higher, and the market rate for interest was 1.55% less. Even after the credit check, nothing presented had an interest rate, even after she asked for it. Speaking of financing, they ignored her requests multiple times to get rate quotes through anyone other than Hyundai. Dealers receive kickbacks from these manufacturer lenders when a customer finances through them. When she asked, the salesperson said, “I can run it, but it will hurt your credit score.” Additional pulls are negligible if they are all for a single purchase of something like a car because the agencies know you are rate shopping. We pointed that out several times before Manny had to be consulted again. Now, when asked again, the response was, “My manager said we can run it, but the interest rate will be in the teens.” At this point, it was closing time. 4 hours of our time wasted, and no apologies to her when she said that she simply didn’t feel comfortable moving forward because of the dishonesty. I don’t know why her statements being met with ZERO response surprised me. If you are a woman reading this, do not, under any circumstances, even drive onto the lot and leave your vehicle. It seems they don’t respect women, even when they have done their research and are clear about boundaries and expectations. If you’re desperate for a vehicle and you are forced to deal with Kunes, avoid the sales manager Manny or any salesperson. They are not trustworthy. Maybe ask for the general manager? I wish we had. Maybe then, you will get a person who is too busy to waste their time lying to you. More

I suppose it could've been worse, but the time wasting factor in getting a deal done still annoys the bleep out of me. But in the end, it did get done to our satisfaction, and the truth is, I don't think factor in getting a deal done still annoys the bleep out of me. But in the end, it did get done to our satisfaction, and the truth is, I don't think Kunes is any better or worse than most other dealerships. Just be prepared to walk away if they hit you with unwanted addons. That worked for us. The salesperson, Joe Ranzino, was fine. More
Had car almost a month never got radio fixed. They knew it was screwed up when they sold it. She said they did an inspection on the car. I don't believe it at all. They knew it was screwed up when they sold it. She said they did an inspection on the car. I don't believe it at all. More
