I have been using the service department at Kurtis since I moved here last August, and have been extremely pleased with the professionalism there. When I considered trading in my Traverse for a smaller veh I moved here last August, and have been extremely pleased with the professionalism there. When I considered trading in my Traverse for a smaller vehicle, I knew that they would be just as professional in the sales department. Makenna listened to me and then showed me a few different models, and allowed me to test drive them all. When I said I needed to consider it, the manager (so sorry I forgot her name but she loves Elvis just like me!) asked what she could do to help. I decided to purchase the Blazer after taking the car home and taking my mother for a ride. She is 91 and needed a lower vehicle for ease of getting in and out; when Mom said she liked the car, I was sold. I returned to the dealership and Makenna continued to take care of me as did Sam in the finance office. They both explained the options clearly so that I knew what I could purchase to support my new car. At no point, did anyone make me feel pressured to take a feature that I did not want. I raeally appreciate that and the fact that people in the sales department genuinely wanted me to be happy with my purchase. That is the professionalism that brings people back. Thank you for ease in making this trade. I will continue to use Kurtis Chevrolet for my vehicle maintenance and future purchases. More
Great experience only problem was that I served and retired from Marine Corps after 28 years and because the website was not working correctly, my military discount could not be applied. I asked if a c retired from Marine Corps after 28 years and because the website was not working correctly, my military discount could not be applied. I asked if a copy of my retired ID card be enough but the dealership said that it has to be done through this website therefore I could not get the discount. In the end I had to pay 500 dollars more than I wanted to but other than that experience was good. More
Well trained mechanics making repairs correctly. Have used Kurtis for 20+ years. Always attentive and listens to the sounds you make when trying to describe a sound your vehicle makes. We moved to North Carolina from Denver, CO. We had purchased a 2007 Trailblazer there and towed our 5,000 lbs of boat and trailer to here. I was looking for a dealership with a service depart We had purchased a 2007 Trailblazer there and towed our 5,000 lbs of boat and trailer to here. I was looking for a dealership with a service department I could trust. A lady with a new Chevy was on the ferry and I asked her if she liked Kurtis. She gave them high marks for her new car purchase and their service department. I took my Trailblazer to Kurtis for service to check them out. They passed. When my wife needed a new car, the only place we shopped was Kurtis. We were not happy with the tire life on the Equinox. The factory original tires (Michelin) only made it to approx. 12,500. The tires were always filled properly with dry nitrogen. Kurtis got us a new set of tires at no cost. The second set of Michelin tires went about 20,000 miles when NHTSA made Michelin recall them. The third set of Michelins went about 23,000 and were worn out. My wife's 2018 Equinox is now running on its fourth set of Michelins, but they are the CrossClimate model. They have about 26,000 miles on them and look factory new. I'm not recommending them until I see at least 50,000 miles on them. I have a rule to only purchase a vehicle from a dealership that has a very good service department! I agree the service department is easy to get an appointment. I usually wait for the service to be performed, but the oil leak was a two day affair. This review was written of my own free will and without any inducements of any kind including any personnel from Kurtis. More
Did not uphold their reputation to take care of an unhappy customer. The tires on my new Equinox were overinflated resulting in having to purchase 4 new tires on 31,000 miles. Kurtis would not stand unhappy customer. The tires on my new Equinox were overinflated resulting in having to purchase 4 new tires on 31,000 miles. Kurtis would not stand behind me therefore, the entire purchase of 4 new tires, wheel alignment and wheel balance were out of my pocket. I sent a letter to Dean Wagaman, owner, and heard nothing from him personally. He turned it over to his GM Hillary, which resulted in being told, they have done all they are going to do, which was nothing other than giving me half off of the wheel alignment and wheel balance.
