David, I think you picked the wrong people to criticize! First and foremost YOU decided to purchase the vehicle as-is. You were offered an extended warranty and YOU declined! YOU decided to take your vehicle to a guy who charged you $500 and failed to fix your problem! If he was any kind of a mechanic, he should have realized the oil cap was missing (if in fact, it was or maybe when he worked on your vehicle HE forgot to reinstall it)! Never once did you call until someone else screwed up your car and now you want us to fix what your mechanic screwed up. We are not perfect and we do make mistakes. I am usually very apologetic when something like this happens, but in your case, your problems were most certainly a result of poor judgment on your part. I have not stayed in business for 50 years by 'ripping people off'. We are done with this issue and will not be offering any more responses to your unjustified claims. John Kyner, Owner

I certainly did choose the wrong dealer and based on you erragant response to my complaint, I see that now. My mechanic did not screw up, you screwed up and cost me 500 dollars. Never once have you acknowledged that you were the last people to perform the oil change, not me, not my mechanic, but you. My reasoning for taking it to my mechanic and not you is listed in my complaint. Read before you speak. Listen before you act. Furthermore, I did not decline the extended warranty. You declined that for me and said I could not get it. That was stupid on my part. I should have noticed a shady dealer and sales person when he told me I needed to decline that and gave me a gmail address instead of a legitimate business address. That is my mistake, I own that. You on the other hand have failed to own your mistake or apologize for that mistake. I approached your company wanting to work with you. An apology would have gone a long way. But you failed. And instead tried and put the blame on me and respond with a nasty, less than professional response to a complaint. Furthermore, I asked multiple times to receive a call from you guys to discuss the matter. Instead you wanted to air it out in an email, less than professional. So here we are now. Airing the issue out in the public. Could of been done very differently. But hopefully you will learn that I am not one to be bullied.
