Things started off great I talked to service advisor Kelsey Shellehamer on the phone after my car started making a screeching sound after leaving a doctors appointment, I asked about loaner coverage and Kelsey Shellehamer on the phone after my car started making a screeching sound after leaving a doctors appointment, I asked about loaner coverage and such as I was an hour away and wasn’t sure how long it would take, she said they would take a look at it and “see if its something easy” I proceeded to sit and wait for almost 2 hours with zero communication, as I’m normally very non confrontational in these situations I resorted to standing near her desk to see if she would offer any sort of update, nope thankfully they were able to fix it in 2 hours or so and only told me when it was done. She proceeded to try to charge me over $80 after finding it was a rock/stone lodged in the caliper. When I asked for clarification on what I was paying for as I don’t see how it’s my fault a rock was lodged there from normal driving on main city roads along with it being a lease and me have maintenance prepaid, all of the warranty’s etc. she said it was “common” I’m not sure how common but am under the impression that they are made to resists this. She was irritated I asked and wanted any sort of clarification and became short. She walked away claiming to look for a “coupon” some how upon return my bill was split nearly in half?. At that point I felt there was too many red flags and I felt I should speak to a service manager/supervisor to verify that both this is not covered under any pkg I have or that that is the correct amount. Kelsey Shellehamer Later attempted to save the interactions after I stated my time was valuable as well due to waiting two hours with no communication whether it was something that could be fixed on the spot or not, and stated that I needed to leave to get to my business she proceeded to ask the name and approx location of said business. Was unable to talk to manager/supervisor due to him being on a “test drive” and me needing to head out for 4p opening time, although she did state he would be giving me a call so I look forward to speaking with him in the future! More
Employees were very polite and the mechanics had my repairs and inspection done without a long wait. Obviously, that can change based on the needs of your vehicle and with that being said this visit wa repairs and inspection done without a long wait. I bought a new turbo diesel and the process was very good, they worked with me with getting the price I wanted to pay. Macey was our sales woman. Other than having the car ready when we arrived she seemed annoyed by my son and me who were there for my son's first car buying experience. She drove with us on our test drive (only dealer that day that did not let us do this on our own (4 that day before)) and she guided us on a drive that was less than one mile and 40 mph at the most. She knew less about the car than we did (and we had called ahead). She made zero attempt and getting to know anything we were looking for and she took no interest in why my son needed a car. She even said that it was a few hours to close and we may not be able to buy it that day. I guess the idea of possibly staying a few minutes past closing only applies to old dads like me trying to help their son buy his first car. I also am in the customer service industry and would starve if I created this customer experience. More
I had a frustrating experience with the Ladd Hanford service department regarding an issue with my vehicle that no one seemed to be able to fix. However, after meeting with General Manager Gary Deibert, service department regarding an issue with my vehicle that no one seemed to be able to fix. However, after meeting with General Manager Gary Deibert, my experience completely turned around. Gary understood my frustration and helped me trade my existing vehicle in for something I love even more. The service department could certainly use some improvement, but with Gary at the helm, this dealership will make sure you leave happy. Thanks, Gary! More
I purchased a 2020 Subaru Forester Sport last year. The "sales consultant" I dealt with acted like my best friend until the moment I left the dealership. I was promised a spare fob, since for some reason my car only had one. Months go by and I haven't gotten a new fob. So I email the consultant, zero response from him. I tried calling, nothing again. So I finally emailed the sales manager and he "handled" the situation. Of course I never got my spare fob because they were to lazy to deal with it. They told me that they, a dealership, could not obtain a spare fob. I was told to go to another dealer for one or order one online and they would reimburse me. Why would I do your job for you?!? So no, I'd never recommend this dealership. Avoid them. More
