On 12/16/25, I found a preowned Jeep on the Lafayette Cadillac website and began to inquire. The sales agent (Jackson Jones) was very helpful and even provided a video of the vehicle for me. In the video, he casually mentioned that for $995, the dealer included something called "Ceramic Protection." When they emailed a proposal it was listed as a separate line item and I told them I did not want this add on. I was informed that I didn't have a choice (in a kind way), that the dealer automatically includes this. It was not mentioned in the advertisement for this vehicle, and to my knowledge it is mentioned nowhere on the website. This whole ordeal left me with a bitter taste in my mouth. This is a deceitful way for the dealer to make extra money. If they automatically include it, then it should be included with the advertised price. While they ended up cutting the cost by $400 to "their cost" it still felt sleezy and underhanded. Every customer should ask for it at "their cost." More

The battery kept draining and then the Battery saver active came on. After I bought a new battery it still did the same thing. When I called I spoke to a man named Derek. He told me I needed to take it to the shop and have it fixed. My mother is in the hospital dieing and I cant even get there. I do NOT suggest buying from them. They were very rude and uncaring that they sold a car that had issues. More
