Good experience at your dealership, salesperson Trevor made the experience easy and straightforward. My one complaint would be that I was unaware of the vehicle only having one key. Too much nickle and dime haggling. Credit person held us up for no reason and didn't care about our time waiting to get to sign closing paper work completed. His slow work caused my wife to have drive home up for no reason and didn't care about our time waiting to get to sign closing paper work completed. His slow work caused my wife to have drive home an 1.5 hrs in the dark and rain and it could have been avoided. The Escape has developed an engine leak within the first week of ownership. Car has under 9K miles. Follow up communication responding my inquires has been non-existent. Four contacts on my part and zero responses from sales department. Compare treatment and time to sign papers with Brandon Ford, the largest selling dealer in the Ford system or Bartow Ford, Lakeland is the slowest processing after the price has been nickeled and dimes settled. I will say that being a holiday weekend and clearing up a credit issue did cause some delay but that out of the way credit clerk dragged his feet even after I complained. He wasn't moving faster for anyone. I see this as poor customer satisfaction training. Additionally I saw many people standing around waiting to sign off and they were waiting much too long to complete the paper work. Management needs to address the performance and provide coaching and counseling to him on the necessity to be customer driven. The customer is Job #1, it why the dealership is in business. Not happy with my engine leak either. Car was a Certified Pre-Owned! I have been let down as a customer. More
