We decided to make an appointment with Lakeland Automall to view the Santa Fe with no intention of buying, as we were considering other models and car manufactures as well. Our salesman Garrett was very personable, helpful and accommodating but never pushy. The Santa Fe was bigger than anticipated and we ended test driving a Tuscon and liked it. Soon thereafter we were negotiating a price on the SEL trim level Tucson. However after driving it home we realized we should have gone up one more trim level (Sport) to get a power rear door opener as the rear gate required some effort to close on the manual SEL. Garrett and his team took back the SEL two days later and located the Sport model at a different dealership. We had to renegotiate the price again but in the end we ended up a good deal and a great car. This is our third experience buying a new Hyundai. While car shopping is generally always a time consuming experience Garrett and his team were very attentive and tried to make the experience as pleasant as possible and provided us with a delicious free Bistro meal. More

Unprepared I phoned the dealership at least 8 hours before arriving and informed them that I was driving down from Panama City, FL to purchase a Tucson. Along th I phoned the dealership at least 8 hours before arriving and informed them that I was driving down from Panama City, FL to purchase a Tucson. Along the way I updated them of exact time of arrival. When I arrived the car was parked near dealerships door but it was not in a ready condition. It was not washed and ready. Isn’t this part of dealer prep costs? Also the Cargo Cover was not in place. I had to remind the sales man that I wanted it several times. Also, after signing papers, the salesman mentioned that I was the second owner of my “new” car. He said the car had been purchased and returned. In my opinion this makes the car a used vehicle. No discount was offered or apology’s given. We washed and detailed the car ourselves Sunday after our long drive home. Based on my experience, I will not recommend your dealership to others. More
