I am very disappointed with the bargaining tactics of your dealership. Original negotiations your people were using data on the Sorento SX Limited Edition. We were confused because we based our research your dealership. Original negotiations your people were using data on the Sorento SX Limited Edition. We were confused because we based our research on th SX model. It wasn’t until our banker ran the vin number to approve the financing that we learned that the vehicle was in fact the SX model and the vehicle was overpriced. Additionally, we were pressured about it being the end of the month and we had to close “today” to the extent that we were asked to bring in a personal check for the full value of the vehicle before the financing went through. I found this highly unusual and asking us to go above and beyond what should be expected from a customer. Maybe this is all part of the game of selling cars which puts the dealers at an advantage because they do this every day. Big ticket items like automobiles, in my opinion, should have a fair price based on the NADA data and not subject to misrepresentation and squabbling over a fair price. Overall this undue pressure put on a serious buyer with excellent credit, by your sales team, is unwarranted, unprofessional, and unappreciated. More
