There are times when the information we provide can be frustrating, especially when it involves varying levels of financial investment. Seeking a second opinion is always a good idea, and we fully support that. We’re human, and while mistakes can happen, the suggestion that our report was completely untrue caught our attention, and I’d like to address it directly. For transparency, all of our recommendations were shared via video. Battery: The battery failed a capacity test, and the positive terminal end would not tighten properly. While we had no issues starting the vehicle, we noted this so that you’d have early warning before a potential no-start situation. State Inspection: Due October 2025. Air Filter: Beginning to show signs of dirt buildup and will need attention in the future. Tires: Tread depth measured between 4/32" and 6/32". Typically, replacement is recommended once tread is consistently at 4/32". Oil Leak: We observed oil leaking onto the exhaust manifold, likely from the rear valve cover. This can lead to oil saturation of the ignition coil, so both would be recommended for replacement at the same time. Spark Plugs: Normally due at 105,000 miles, but given the overlap in labor, replacing them during the valve cover repair would be the most efficient option. Subframe: As shown in the video, the passenger side is starting to tear. On the driver side, the bushing has failed, and the subframe is now resting on the body connector. We take honesty and transparency seriously — there is absolutely no intention to take advantage of any customer. I genuinely regret that this situation led you to feel otherwise.
