I purchased a brand new 2011 Jaguar XJL in December 2011 and have experienced several mechanical challenges with the vehicle. My vehicle has overheated 3 times and has been towed to the dealership 2 times, and have experienced several mechanical challenges with the vehicle. My vehicle has overheated 3 times and has been towed to the dealership 2 times, per the service department the vehicle overheated do to defective engine fans that have been replaced 2 times. My entire electrical system has shut down do to a battery short and several other challenges such as a malfunctioning sunroof etc. I contacted Jaguar of North America to buy the vehicle back and they told me the vehicle is considered safe and reliable according to the warranty standards and per their conversation with David Muse. What I find most interesting is that Jaguar North America and Jaguar of Annapolis are unwilling to provide me with a written letter statement saying the vehicle is safe and reliable. Buyers purchase at your own risk they are very good at passing the buck. More
