My last review stated how I still had a problem with my vehicle after I left Land Rover. Well, eventually it broke down and had to be towed in. This was last year around Oct. or Nov.; I was given a loaner vehicle after I left Land Rover. Well, eventually it broke down and had to be towed in. This was last year around Oct. or Nov.; I was given a loaner (Thank you). Though I appreciate the loaner. I am still upset with the service. As I said my vehicle was towed in last year as I had issues then when I drove it off the lot. Last week I finally received a text from Crystal that it was ready after approximately 3 months. I took off work to pick it up, paid gas from WV to MD, paid them cash then drove off the lot. My vehicle was a little loud. I looked at the dash and it said LOW COOLANT LEVEL ..........REALLY!!!!!After 3 months I take time off work, gas from WV to Bethesda and the tow cost from them not repairing it correctly the first time. Then I have paid for my vehicle repair work LAST WEEK and I still don't have my vehicle. This service is AWFUL. Seems like they only provide excellent service for the newly purchased vehicles and to xxxx with loyal customers. Crystal does not return calls. She knows the situation and has made no attempts to communicate with me and I am getting PISSED!!!! Just because I don't drive a new Land Rover it doesn't mean I should be treated like crap. I pay just like the rest of their customers, and they don't hesitate to take my money. If you don't want my service just tell me that. If paid for the xxxx repairs I should have my xxxx vehicle. I should not have to write a review to get a response from Land Rover when I already paid for repairs on a vehicle I do not have. This is the worst service I have ever received. More
Cheryl was the utmost help shes truly the greatest ever, such a gem!! She’s so sweet and beyond helpful, i needed to connect my car to the Land Rover app and she was such a hoot, she made such an amazing im such a gem!! I bought a used Defender from a dealership in Richmond, and needed a tutorial on the car and all of its features. I had the pleasure of working with Kevin Soltwedel on the purchase of a vehicle. From start to finish, Kevin was incredible. Kevin S. sold me a used Land Rover with issues on the A/C converter. When I called them to have them look at the car (less than 3 days after purchasing) the c sold me a used Land Rover with issues on the A/C converter. When I called them to have them look at the car (less than 3 days after purchasing) the car was making a knocking noise Kevin very non chalantly told me they couldn’t check out the car for at least a 4 days to a week. I told him that was unacceptable and they agreed to look at it the following day in the “morning” when in actuality, they didn’t look at the car until the following day in the evening. They said nothing was wrong and I had to pressure them to look again. They found the ac compressor was going bad and shared that the car was still “safe to drive” and they had no idea that there was an issue prior to selling me the vehicle. When Kevin’s entire sales pitch was the 125 point inspection. It was then radio silence after that, no follow up from Kevin at all and we were in the middle of a snow storm and I needed my car because it has 4WD. Kevin said I could pick up my car since I needed it and didn’t bother then to communicate that the cost to fix my car would be $4600 and Land Rover Bethesda had no intentions on fixing the car. I found this on a price of paper they left in the vehicle. I called Kevin the following morning and again expressed my frustrations. He said I could bring the car back and he’d look into what else they had on the lot. Then radio silence again. I called him to tell him I’d bring the car back, he said no problem. Then he blocked me and my husband from calling and texting him. I had a trusted mechanic look at the car and it was not at all the ac compressor and just the serpentine belt and tensioner that needed to be changed. All for less than $500. Not to mention, after Kevin blocked us, the tensioner belt broke, my car started smoking and the power steering went. My child was in the car when this happened. I thought the vehicle was safe to drive though. Do not buy from this dealership. I understand that things happen but they way Kevin handled this situation was gross and slimy. Very much used car salesman. More
