I purchased a Lotus Emira from Galpin Lotus in June 2025, expecting the premium treatment that should come with a high end vehicle. Instead, I was falsely accused of identity fraud by their sales manager, David Choi. based solely on a minor discrepancy in the phone number listed on my loan application and a missed call. I had clearly explained, both verbally and in writing, that due to my limited English, my husband handled the application process and used his contact information with full transparency. Rather than seeking clarification, Mr. David Choi addressed me in an aggressive, accusatory, and intimidating manner. His tone and behavior caused me significant emotional distress, and I was forced to cancel a $5,000 body kit order from the UK out of fear that my entire purchase might be undone. Although Lotus Financial later cleared me of any wrongdoing, Neither Mr. Choi nor Galpin Lotus has acknowledged or taken responsibility for the harm they caused, nor have they offered any form of compensation I escalated the issue through the appropriate channels and requested that the dealership take reasonable responsibility either through a gesture of goodwill or internal corrective action. My efforts were dismissed without resolution. I am sharing this so that others are aware of how seriously mishandled a situation can become, even when you're a fully qualified buyer with excellent credit and honest intent. I hope this review serves as a cautionary account, and that Galpin Lotus takes this as an opportunity to reflect, train their staff better, and treat future customers with the respect and professionalism they deserve. I cancelled a service contract last December, but still getting payouts on my credit card because the finance department can't or won't DO THEIR JOB. Safe Guard Int'l cancelled the service and issued a check to Land Rover Jaguar Van Nuys last December, but this dealer has yet to pay off Budco Financial who keeps billing me for the cancelled service. I have done three rounds of phone calls / on hold, note taking, etc. with each of the parties including 1 Budco, 2 Safe Guard, and 3 finance department of Land Rover Jaguar Van Nuys—each telling me the account is closed and it's Land Rover Jaguar Van Nuys who has dropped the ball. Meanwhile I'm still getting bill notifications. The finance department of Land Rover Jaguar Van Nuys is a mess. Customer service is a joke. Avoid this place! More

I would NOT recommend this service department to anyone. Not sure what has happened to this place but Robert in service is an unreliable, unethical and the ultimate company man. Scheduled a service and reiterated multiple times I need a loaner, I get there at 9am, he looks over my needs and after realizing there isn’t money to be made, he tells me he doesn’t have a loaner car anymore. Made an ordeal over a loaner that I needed to get to work and pick up kids while they did warranty work on my car. This isn’t a Kia dealership, I expect a courtesy loaner while my $120,000 car gets worked on. Vic the service manager is really just a figure head, he doesn’t even have the decency to return a phone call. They used to be a good place but since Covid, it’s become a nightmare to deal with. More
These people have had my vehicle in service for over 100 days. They do not answer their phone. They do not answer their email. Their service department is nonexistent.
