LR lacks customer service Although the employees at this service center do their best, they are peddling a poor product and therefore the overall experience at a LR dealership Although the employees at this service center do their best, they are peddling a poor product and therefore the overall experience at a LR dealership is always disappointing. We have leased from Audi, BMW, and Volvo in the past. We chose to lease because we do not like to deal with maintenance issues. All of the other dealerships have met this expectation. Which was basically hassle-free car ownership for three years, during the term of the lease. Because we were not owners of the property (car), the upkeep of the property was not our concern. We brought the cars in for scheduled maintenance, per agreements. We were treated with an expedited and for the most part easy experience, with well coordinated staff making sure to schedule a curtesy car or shuttle if needed, ahead of our appointments. Unbelievably, we just paid over $1000 yesterday for scheduled maintenance on our leased car- property we do not own. And we have paid over $500 for scheduled maintenance on this property last year. This alone will keep us from entering into another such agreement with LR in the future. As for my experience while waiting to pay for upkeep on this property I do not own: I arrived to find the dealership under construction. My waiting area was in a chair sitting across from the work desks of customer service representatives, and although the offer was made to shuttle me over to the mall, it would have been so much better to have been told about the condition of the space prior my appointment. I do not enjoy mall time. I would have rather re-scheduled the appointment. Instead I sat for two hours and listened to service reps explain why everything was expensive and the customer's responsibility, even for parts that were seemingly faulty on the part of LR. At the conclusion of my appointment, I was told my car was ready and so I sat outside and waited. For 20 minutes. And then asked my customer service rep if I was in fact in the correct area to receive my car. I was. She went inside and about 5 minutes later my car arrived. I do not wish to ding the customer service reps for any more than their choice to work at such a poorly run company. All of these issues stem from LR decisions that go deep into the company and the way in which customers are punished for having purchased their product. More

Since my Land Rover is a 2003, and since my repair bill approached the value of the car, I was hesitant to spend the sum required to make my Rover road-ready once again. With the five-star rated assistance of Service Advisor Sally Kuhlman and your fine service staff, we put together a repair plan that covered all the needed fixings. The work performed was of excellent quality. I felt treated very fairly. My costs were laid out in detail for each type of repair. Sally Kuhlman kept me up to date on progress nearly every day, and was able to provide an answer when I expressed a concern as to the process or cost of needed repair. No loaner I requested loaner for the day of my car service. They did not had it, then they dropped me off to the car rental and there was 1 hr extra time waste I requested loaner for the day of my car service.
