I would highly recommend Nate as he helped us with two car purchases! My next comment has nothing to do with Nate in particular, but for the overall experience I had as a female buying a car with my husband. There were too many instances when the negotiations, financing conversations, and even the preparation of documents were biased towards my husband. This was clearly my car purchase since we were also purchasing a car for my husband, yet I was relegated to a “supporting” role making decisions about car colors and such, but not involved in any further negotiations. I should have been listed as the primary car owner but was not. As a career professional serving as a chief executive officer, I found this offensive. Although admittedly I don’t care much for cars and am not overly selective in what I’m driving, that should not have been a factor when it came to the actual car ownership discussions. I hope Wilde Automotive teaches it’s employees that today’s women are capable of making decisions such as this and behaviors like making eye contact, directing questions to the female, and such would go a long way. I don’t think this was intentional but it’s an implicit bias, whether subconscious or not, that needs to be addressed. Thank you for giving me a forum to share my perspective. More
