Hello Doug, If you are actually the owner, I thought you might want to know about my terrible experience at your dealership. This started on Wednesday June 25th. I came to the Landmark on the west side, I believe this is the dodge side, looking to purchase a van. I walked around the lot for no less than 10 minutes without anyone coming to assist me, which makes buying a car pretty impossible with no sticker prices/mileage on the car. I then went and literally stood in front of the front door for an additional 5 minutes. Still nobody comes to assist me, so I left. I should have continued down Noland Road and went to the Chevy dealership, but fortunately for you I went across the street to the other Landmark location. The experience started out decent as I was helped almost immediately and the salesman (I believe his name was Mitchel Smitley, I ended up throwing his extra cards away I requested after this experience went from good to bad). Mitchel immediately recommended a van that I ended up purchasing. I test drove the van, agreed on a price, and put a deposit down to come back Friday and take the vehicle to my mechanics and if all went well, to purchase the van. I spent roughly 3 hours there on Wednesday filling out initial paperwork among everything else. Friday rolls around, and I get the van to the mechanics. The mechanic tells me that this vehicle is thousands of miles past due on an oil change which is just disappointing that you all don't take better care of your cars, not to mention I assumed this would be done between Wednesday and Friday after putting a deposit down on the car. The mechanic pointed out a handful of things, but the main one being a leak in the transmission lines. The dealership agreed to fix this, but it would have to be at a later date. I spend another 5 hours at the dealership on Friday filling out paperwork, waiting to get confirmation on the fixes, etc, and at the end of the day I was handed keys to the van, which in that 5 hours had still not been sent through the service department. So I get the keys to the car and notice the car is still dirty. There are footprints on the windshield, half eaten food in a cubby in the car, trash hidden in about every nook and cranny, and the gas tank is running on fumes as I leave the dealership. The salesman had put a whopping couple dollars in it earlier that day to make it to the mechanics. I wasn't expecting a full tank, but even a quarter of a tank or something so I don't immediately have to make my first stop the nearest gas station I can find. Then I get home and realize that one of the stow and go seats doesn't fold down at all. The dealership at this point was closed. I come back to the dealership Monday (June 30th) stating that the loan isn't finalized and I want everything they said they would fix done today to move forward with it, and I want the stow and go seats fixed. They agreed and asked if I was going to wait for the repairs. I told them yes. Six hours later, I get a little impatient and go check on the progress of the repairs. I was told they hadn't even looked at the car yet, and they went into "emergency mode". An hour later, I'm told "I'm sorry you waited here all day long, but we don't have the parts and can't fix it today". I'm furious by this point and am directed towards Chad. Chad apologized and promised everything would be better from here on out. I wish that were the case. He told me that he or Mitchel would personally call me when the parts get in. Parts come in two days later, and no phone call from Chad or Mitchel. We bring the car in on Wednesday (July 3rd) and we were told they would get it done in 2 days at the most. It is now Tuesday (July 8th) and our new car is still at your dealership. I have never been anything but excited after buying a new car until this experience and I will most likely regret purchasing a car from you for however long we own this car and I will most assuredly express my disappointment any time new cars come up in conversation, which is nearly every day in my line of work.
