Poor warantee response I own a 2011 Nissan Leaf. One of the major features of this car was the remote monitoring of the electrical system. The feature name is CarWings. C I own a 2011 Nissan Leaf. One of the major features of this car was the remote monitoring of the electrical system. The feature name is CarWings. CARWINGS stopped communicating with the cell network and the satellite network shortly after the car was delivered, you might say it started failing early in by not sending texts and not connecting when used to check battery levels remotely. It has been back and forth with the dealers since it was new. They would log into the radio and the system would work for a few weeks then stop working again and again and again. It became so frustrating it was useless. Now they tell me the touch screen is going bad and I need a new radio, $4,000.00 because now they say it’s out of warantee. I began reporting the problems well within the warantee period and Nissan just made patches to work around the problem of the faulty communication system, waiting for the warantee to expire. That’s not what I expected from NISSAN. More

However Daniel said he would do his best to see if Nissan would take care of the majority of the repair costs and not only did they take care of the majority they took care of all of the repairs at no cost to me.
