Gary M @ Ford Lincoln in Draper, Utah was an awesome salesman. No high pressure. The price received for my used car that was $500 more than CarMax offered. While I was signing paperwork, LHM Ford wrec salesman. No high pressure. The price received for my used car that was $500 more than CarMax offered. While I was signing paperwork, LHM Ford wrecked my truck and over charged me on the VTA warranty which is almost a worthless warranty. They put stickers on your inner fenders or door jams with a trackable number. So many limitations on how or if VTA will pay out a claim due to theft that it's pretty close to worthless. Also, some mistakes on the paperwork resulted in a $2000 dollar over charge which was taken care of and corrected with the help of the sales manager Gary and salesman Gary M. The finance manager Alex is difficult to work with. The bumper damage most likely was done by the detail shop at LHM Ford. And was fixed at Karl Malone Body shop and the work is flawless. LHM ford paid for all the Body shop charges. Sucks my new truck now shows an accident on the CarFax report. So now my only wish would be $162 over charge on the crappy VTA theft deterrent package Please don’t buy the VTA theft warranty it it’s a rip off in my opinion and by law is not required for a loan or purchase regardless of what they tell you. It took almost 8 months from ordering the 2022 Ford Maverick to finally receiving it. I had ordered this truck back in August of 2021, but due to Ford waiting for the EPA testing of the Truck, the pro Maverick to finally receiving it. I had ordered this truck back in August of 2021, but due to Ford waiting for the EPA testing of the Truck, the production was delayed and later due to part shortages and Ford receiving more orders than they could produce was another reason for 8 months of delay. I had kept up with the news of Ford Maverick on YouTube and some of the horror stories I had heard caused me some worries and concern, but that did not happen with my order from Larry H. Miller of Draper, Utah. I received an email from Joshua Aiken sales representative of Larry H. Miller that my Truck had arrived and ready to be picked up. I made a visit that day to Larry H. Miller dealership and after meeting with Joshua Aiken I knew I was in good hands, and I had nothing to be concerned or worried about. Joshua was very sincere and professional, he treated me with respect and kept all the promises that it was made at the time of ordering of the Maverick Truck, and I could not be any happier and more pleased with my purchase. I will make sure my next vehicle purchase would be from him and Larry H. Miller. Thank you, Joshua, for everything you did to make this transaction pleasant. Sincerely, Shawn B. More
Worked with Eddie and Tyrus to switch out a lease vehicle I was very unhappy with from the beginning of the deal, start to finish. They helped me find a new 2022 Ford Explorer. The minute I sat in it and did a test drive, I knew this was it! As a Ford Retiree, I was ready to make the change from always leasing my vehicles to doing a purchase. This review is for the service department -- they are highly unprofessional. The sales department does their job well and this doesn't reflect on them. Pros: At least they eventually get the work done highly unprofessional. The sales department does their job well and this doesn't reflect on them. Pros: At least they eventually get the work done.. Cons: Highly unprofessional, unresponsive, dishonest, and so on. My 2016 F150 with under 50k miles, had two recalls listed for it and it was time to have the oil changed. So, I reached out to schedule an appointment -- it took me four months to get a callback/response. When I took it in the time before they told me the oil change was done; so, I went out to pick up the truck and pay for the oil change, and they told me that they hadn't even started on it yet -- I had been waiting for three hours already and was told that they would have it to me within two hours tops. They were then very rude and also said it was my fault for being impatient (I had nicely asked if it was ready since they told me it was). After that experience I was hesitant to schedule anything through them again; but, I was told to reach out to the manager over service to schedule next time and that it would be different. It was so much worse... Williams Reams (manager) helped me schedule a time to come in (after four months of trying to schedule the normal way). That was the last of his help or him even responding -- can't expect much from anyone under a manager who isn't responsive I guess. My F150 has had all of its regular maintenance on time and has been well taken care of -- they told me that it was "spewing oil" and that they would need to repair it for three days. It has been snowing recently, and oil is VERY easy to see on gray metal/snow/concrete and there was NO oil anywhere to be found on my truck prior to me taking it in -- so I am confident saying that the damage was done at the dealership. Things happen, but they blamed me and made me pay for it. Beyond this terrible experience, they told me that they would schedule an Uber to take me from work to my home since they were going to be keeping the the truck for a few days -- they scheduled the Uber from my work to LHM Draper instead of my home. The Uber driver looked at the destination when I jumped in and laughed since it was less than two blocks away from my work. He then told me to get out of his car and laughed while he drove away (kind of funny looking back but not funny at the time). I had to wait over an hour for another Uber to make it my way due to traffic/demand. I reached out via text, email, and phone call to LHM Draper service department and had no response (this was during working hours at 3:30/4 PM in the afternoon). TLDR: If you value your time, money, and dignity go to another Ford Dealership for service on your vehicle as this one is operated by people who don't know how to be service professionals. More
