We drove 2 hours from our home in Hastings, MI to Lasco Ford in Fenton Mi, looking for a good deal on a new Ford Fiesta. We did purchase a very nice used car for what I THINK was a good price. The business manager got us great financing and took care of all the paperwork, saving us a trip to the Secretary of State. In conclusion, we bought the car we were interested in, and left the lot with the registration and insurance in the glove box and a license plate on the back. I gave a "good" rating instead of a "great" rating because of the selling game mentioned earlier. It also would have been nice if Lorri had sat in the car and explained the features of the car before we drove it off the lot. Sure, we can read the manual and figure it out, but other dealers have done that for us in the past and it is a nice customer service touch. More

We were in the market for a "beater" (older model, higher miles for towing a trailer/boat) truck. After finding a truck on Auto Trader listed at Lasco Ford, we called the dealer and were sent t model, higher miles for towing a trailer/boat) truck. After finding a truck on Auto Trader listed at Lasco Ford, we called the dealer and were sent to Scott Lambert to assist us. He told us he felt that he had some trucks that met our needs. We drove from Royal Oak to Fenton to check out the lot. He had 2 vehicles that matched our requirements. The one had been marked down already from the original listed price, and Scott mentioned that on Saturday they were looking to sell some vehicles and would be willing to work with us. We thoroughly looked over the vehicle and found many "fixes" to be done, after all it is a 2001 truck. We offered a price even $999 less than the already reduced price. Scott took the offer back to the manager and we settled for $250 over our offer on the truck. They also worked with us using an alternative payment source. Scott was very attentive and helpful getting us in a "new to us" truck. We will absolutely consider the drive back to Fenton to visit Scott next year when we are in the market for a new truck.
