They were very apologetic with the other location and did all they could to give us the best experience. We will be back again for service work and future vehicles. I will recommend Paul & Jason,but suggest they get service elsewhere.My vehicles engined was never washed,Truck was leaking antifreeze & odor was present.Never did get looked at after 3 requests.With bumper to Bumper warranty & will take it to a garage & send Lasco the bill for the 100$ deductible.I doubt they will pay it,but more grief trying to get service in a timely manner .I would rather pay the 100$ myself. From Northern Ontario Canada travelling on I -75 in MI and in the middle of a Polar Vortex aka dont get any colder out and my control knob that adjusts heat flow for floor, dash or defroster goes and coul and in the middle of a Polar Vortex aka dont get any colder out and my control knob that adjusts heat flow for floor, dash or defroster goes and could only get defroster heat. Drive a F 250 Super Duty diesel and the floor boards where so cold the the snow & ice that gets melted off your boots froze to the floor mats and i was at the point could not drive anymore because my feet where starting too freeze. It was a 5.0 hour drive from when i crossed the border at Sault Ste Marie MI/ON and with temps at - 38 when leaving home you can imagine how cold the floor became. Stopped at Lasco hoping for a repair, late in the day and the shop was busy. They brought me inside , did the normal check in explaining my problem. Service advisor let me sit at his desk as he had a electric space heater under it, pulled off my boots and socks and thawed my feet out, good thing i had a shower in the morning. LOL. Hot coffee and the circulation came back. They brought my truck into the shop, needed part that was not in stock, so the mechanic with my approval did a McGyver and locked the flap in place so heater was slpit 50/50 floor and defroster and I could continue my travels and have repairs done when back home in Canada. Ready to leave Lasco, stopped again at the service advisor desk and was greeted with thanks for stopping at Lasco Ford and NO Charge for the shop visit, now thats customer service with a smile and a hand shake. Just another reason that I have drove FORD pickups since 1974 with the 1st one being a F-100, 4 wheel drive with a 390 gotta go engine. LOL Better do a shout out for my home dealer, Maitland Motors Ford, Sault Ste Marie ON, Brent and his crew get the job done !!!!!!! Trip finished well, home dealer did the repair and the Polar Vortex subsided back to the Artic until next year. Hats off to Miguel and Nicole in Lasco's service dept from Frosty in the land of the Great White North. p/s. Left Nicole $20.00 to buy the service dept a cup of Tim Hortons coffee, and she will know the addiction us Canucks have for a Double/Double Timmies !!!!!!! Cheers Guys !!!!!! My driver's side wiper blade had broken off in this past Saturday's (12/14/13) snow storm; drove to Fenton Lasco Ford. Asked Mike Goldsworthy for help as was after hours for service center to be open past Saturday's (12/14/13) snow storm; drove to Fenton Lasco Ford. Asked Mike Goldsworthy for help as was after hours for service center to be open (sometime after 6 pm) Mike went to see if anyone in service was still around. Paul & Mike said they together would see if they could help me. They found a wiper blade, and Paul put it on, tested them to make sure they would work. Both Paul & Mike were an answer to prayer, as my husband was out of town. Mike & Paul went above and beyond my expectations, as the service dept was closed. THANK YOU Mike & Paul for rescuing a damsel in distress!!! More
Our recently purchased F150 had a Rear differential issue, so we took it in to Lasco, where we bought the truck, for service. Not only did Julie make sure our repair was completely covered under our wa issue, so we took it in to Lasco, where we bought the truck, for service. Not only did Julie make sure our repair was completely covered under our warranty, she made sure I had rental car, and updates on our repairs along the way. We were very pleased with the customer service, and the timely repairs on our vehicle. I would not hesitate to recommend this service department to friends and family. Thanks again Julie! More
