We brought in our 2023 Highlander Limited in for warranty as the main infotainment screen would go blank. The girl at the service counter was snippy and rude (I have a more suitable word but cannot say here as the main infotainment screen would go blank. The girl at the service counter was snippy and rude (I have a more suitable word but cannot say here). She kept insisting that our phone cables were not "certified" for the phones. She told us to come back only if it happens. Well about 3 days later it was happening and drove it in and were "blessed" with the same girl and her "wonderful" attitude. At first she didn't want to help but did once we reminded her on her instructions, she had a service tech take a look. All they did was to fix it was to reset the entire system. Once we were leaving, our "wonderful" service assistant reminded us that we only have 5,000 miles and 3 months left on the warranty and then it will cost us money to have serviced. We had purchased 5 vehicles from Le Mieux. More
Lemieux & Son Toyota doesn’t care about their customers, at least that’s how the service manager, Don, makes you feel. My 2023 Tundra engine turned off on me as I was on my way up-north last week. The at least that’s how the service manager, Don, makes you feel. My 2023 Tundra engine turned off on me as I was on my way up-north last week. The next day, Don advised me the engine was seized, and that it would a while before I received my truck back. When I asked how long “a while” was, Don began telling me that the truck had to be looked at by Corporate Toyota, who would in-turn determine if the truck would be receiving a short-block or long-block. Then once that’s determined, it would likely take a while for parts to come in, then more time for install. Don advised me that Lemieux & Son Toyota doesn’t give out loaner vehicles, but offered a small vehicle (sedan) through Enterprise Rent-a-Car. I politely explained to Don that I needed a truck to be covered, as I use my truck to make a living; Don didn’t care in the least bit, and just kept repeating that Toyota will only cover $50/day. With the MASSIVE issue Toyota is having with the Tundra engines seizing-up (over 100,000 engines), you would expect Toyota to cover a loaner vehicle (full-size pick-up truck) out of good-faith. Let alone when I need my full-size pick-up truck to make a living. If I knew I would be treated like this by Lemieux & Son Toyota, I would’ve paid out-of-pocket to have my Tundra towed to a dealership who actually cares about their customers. I did reach out to Corporate Toyota, and all they did was give me the run-around, then told Don to call me back. When Don called, I asked him what the status of my truck was; Don stated they were waiting on a new engine from Corporate Toyota. I was happy to hear this as I would prefer a long-block (a full-engine assembly), instead of a short-block. I asked Don to further elaborate, at which point it went from my truck getting a new engine, to ‘Corporate Toyota is still determining whether they’re going to try fixing the engine with a short-block, or sending a new engine (long-block). It should be noted that throughout the conversation, Don appeared angry with my questions/statements, and would constantly talk-over me and raise his voice, which is extremely unprofessional! I WILL NEVER RETURN TO LEMIEUX & SON TOYOTA. -Avery More
disappointed The dealership service people are courteous, but the service department did not fix the problem with the back door on my 2016 Highlander. Further, th The dealership service people are courteous, but the service department did not fix the problem with the back door on my 2016 Highlander. Further, they are content knowing that it is not fixed. I've brought in the Highlander several times to get the back door fixed. The last time, they acknowledged it was not fixed but said there is nothing more they can do. A couple of Saturdays ago, we had some food fall to the ground while we were trying to open the back door. More
