WE LEFT THE DEALERSHIP WITHIN 1 HOUR, VEHICLE IN POSESSION. WHILE BEING INDUCED TO ACT TO SIGN PAPERWORK WITHOUT THE PROFESSIONAL SETTING AND ABILTY TO REVIEW SUCH DOCUMENTS FREE OF DISTRACTIONS. POSESSION. WHILE BEING INDUCED TO ACT TO SIGN PAPERWORK WITHOUT THE PROFESSIONAL SETTING AND ABILTY TO REVIEW SUCH DOCUMENTS FREE OF DISTRACTIONS. MR. GOULETTE AND MR. WICKERHAM USED TACTICS SUCH AS BEING UNTRUTHFUL, RUSHING, STIMULATING, PERSUADING, CONVINCING, INFLUENCING AND MANY OTHER INDUCMENTS TO COMPLETE THE SALE. (INDUCING TO ACT IS ONLY 1 OF SEVERAL TYPES OF FRAUDULANT ACTIVITIES ENCOUNDERED WHILE DOING BUSINESS WITH YOUR AUTOMOTIVE SALES DEPARTMENT. ON THE 5TH DAY OF APRIL 2022 AT 9:14 AM MS. ******** RECEIVED A EMAIL FROM MR. WICKERHAM INFORMING THAT MR. ****** SIGN AND SEND BACK A PREFILLED OUT CREDIT APPLICATION. WAS INFORMED THAT THE OFFICE INFORMED MR. WICKERHAM THAT SOMEONE SPILT COFFEE OF THE INITIAL APPLICATION AND THEN SHREDDED IT. (IF WE MR. ******* WAS APPROVED, THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN NO NEED TO RESIGN A APPLICATION AS THE BANK WOULD HAVE ALREADY HAD THAT.) OUR FIRST THOUGHT WAS HOW WHERE WE ALREADY APROVED FROM THE BANK IF THEY SPILT COFFEE ON THAT INITIAL APPLICATION AND NEED A NEW ONE SIGNED TO SEND TO THE BANK? APONE READING THE CREDIT APPLICATION I NOTICED SEVERAL AREAS THAT WHERE NOT THE HONEST TRUTH COMPAIRED TO THE INFORMATION THAT WAS GIVEN TO MR. GOULETTE. WE THEN REVEIVED Ms. ***** CREDIT APPLICATION AND WITHOUT A DOUBT FOUND MORE DELINQUENCIES. IT IS INDEFINIT THAT MR. GOULETTE AND ANYONE ELSE INVOLED CHANGED OUR INFORMATION IN ORDER TO GET A LENDER APPROVAL AND ANYTHING ELSE THAT WAS REQUIRED TO GET A BANKS APPROVAL FOR OUR NEW AUTO LOAN. IT IS INDEFINIT THAT MR. GOULETTE AND ANYONE ELSE INVOLED MADE FALSE REPRESENTATION OF PAST AND PRESANT MATERIAL FACTS. IT IS ALSO INDEFINIT THAT MR. GOULETTE AND ANYONE ELSE INVOLED KNEW THEIR REPRESENATION WAS FALSE. AS A SALESPERSON AND LEASING CONSULTANT, THEY KNEW WHAT THEY HAD TO LIE ON IN ORDER FOR THIS SALE/TRANSACTION TO GO THROUGH. THERFOR AFTER BEING AWEARE OF SUCH FRADULANT ACTIVITES, WE WANTED TO DIG FURTHER INTO THE ENTIRE TRANSACTION AND VEHICLE. AFTER CARFULLY READING THE FEW COPYS RECEIVED, WE NOTICED SEVERAL OTHER DISHONEST AND UNFAIR TRADE PRACTICE VIOLATION UNDER THE MAINE CONSUMER PROTECT LAWS. THOSE INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, BEING TOLD THAT THE WARRENTY WE ARE GETTING WITH THE VEHICLE IS GREAT. (NOT KNOWING WE HAD TO SIGN (PURCHASE) A $3,000 POWERTRAIN WARRENTY. AND THEN REALIZING THAT THE WINDOW STICKER WE WHERE GIVEN IN OFFICE HAD NO WARRENTY BESIDES MANDATORY STATE INSPECTION. (WHEN INFACT THERE WAS NO WINDOW STICKER ON THE VEHICLE WHEN WE ARRIVED BUT A WINDOW STICKER LAYING IN THE BACK SIT WITH GREAT WARRENTYS APPLIED WITHIN. WHICH ARE THE ONES WE THOUGHT WE WHERE GETTING) (BAIT AND SWITCH) WE DID NOT GIVE MR. GOULETTE PEMISSON TO FILL OUT OUR CREDIT APPLICATION NOR DID WE GIVE CONSENT TO CONTACT MULTIPLE DIFFERENT BANKS, CREDIT UNIONS, LOANERS ECT. ON THE 8TH DAY OF APRIAL 2022 PEOPLES CHOICE BANK AND MR. WICKERHAM TRIED GETTING US TO SIGN A RELEASE IN ORDER TO RETURN THE VEHICLE AND GET OUR $700.00 DOWN PAYMENT BACK. APON REQUESTING TO REVIEW THROUGH EMAIL THE SAID “RELEASE” AND CARFULLY READING, MR. CHASE WROTE UP THAT LEE AUTO GROUP IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY TYPE OF DAMAGES, CLAIMS SUITS ECT. THAT MAY HAVE RESULTED FROM THE TRANSACTION OF THE VEHICLE. (WE DID NOT SIGN) WE FELT VERY INSULTED TO BE HONEST. WE WHERE NOT INFORMED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS USED AS A LOANER PRIOR TO OUR PURCHASE. (HAVE PRIOR LOANER AGREEMENT THAT WAS LEFT IN BACK SEAT) WE ALSO WHERE NOT INFORMED THAT THE LEE DODGE CHRYSLER JEEP WAS INQUIRED THE VEHICLE BY AN AUCTION. THE PAPERWORK WE RECEIVED STATES YOU INQUIRED THE SAID VEHICLE FROM PREVIOUS OWNER. (NOT AUCTION) CARFAX SHOWS IT WAS ACQUIRED TO LEE AUTO MALLS FROM AUCTION INDEFINITELY. We canceled the transaction after knowing of the dealership fraud. MR. ARRON CHASE INFORMED US THAT WE HAD TO BRING THE VEHICLE BACK AS SOON AS POSSIBLE BECAUSE THE BANK DIDN’T PAY WHICH MEANS THAT WE DO NOT OWN THE VEHICLE. THAT WE ARE DRIVING AROUND IN A VEHICLE THAT WE DO NOT OWN. WHEN IN FACT WE DO OWN THE VEHICLE WITH THE RETAIL INSTALLMENT CONTRACT. I DO NOT THINK MR. CHASE WAS AWARE OF THE LEGAL EFFECT OF AN ATTEMPT TO ENGINEER THE CANCELLING OF A SALE IN THE ABSENCE OF A SPOT DELIVERY NOTICE. (WHICH WAS JUST ANOTHER TACTIC IN HOPES FOR US TO NOT CHANGE OUR MINDS AND GO WITH THE VEHICLE WE PICKED, THE AMOUNT AND ADDED WARRENTIES) WE NOW FEEL MR. CHASE WHO WAS REPRESENTING LEE AUTO MALLS WITHIN SAID EMAIL IS AND WAS HARRASING US BY TELLING US WE DO NOT OWN THE CAR. THE PRICE LISTED ON THE VEHICLE WAS $21,990. WE WALKED OUT OF THE DEALERSHIP WITH A TOTAL OF $25,786.20. THE PRICE MAGICALLY WENT UP DUE TO BEING INDUCED TO ACT. ADD ON PRICING THAT WAS NOT INCLUDED WITHIN THE STICKER PRICE. THERE ARE SEVERAL UNFAIR TRADE PRACTICES VIOLATIONS, DEALERSHIP FRAUD AND UNETHICAL AND UNPROFESSIONAL PRACTICES GOING ON HERE. WE ARE NOT VERY PLEASE AND VERY UNSATISFIED WITH THE TRANSACTION OF PURCHASING A VEHICLE FROM LEE AUTO GROUPS. WE ALSO STRONGLY BELIEVE THAT THE FURTHER THIS MATTER IS INVESTIGATED, MORE DISTURBING EVIDENCE WILL COME TO LIGHT. More

I called Maddox last fall about wanting to find a particular Jeep Wrangler (I had a long wish list and was willing to wait especially considering the way the car market is right now). Great staff and a great place to buy a car. I drove from upstate NY and over 550 miles to Maine to buy from Lee Auto(Tylor McKenzie) as my local dealership down the road wanted 12K over MSRP for the same ve upstate NY and over 550 miles to Maine to buy from Lee Auto(Tylor McKenzie) as my local dealership down the road wanted 12K over MSRP for the same vehicle.... thats twelve thousand dollars. I bought the same vehicle from Lee for 1K under the MSRP. I think most of us understand the current market, but that doesn't give the green light to price gouge. You know from the moment you walk in, the people at Lee Auto pride themselves on how well they take care of their customers. Think of this before you decide who to buy your next car from, if they're willing to screw you over while looking you in the face, imagine what they plan on doing to you when you bring it in to be serviced and out of sight.
