Upon entering, I made clear that I did not wish to provide my SSN, as I knew my score and my tier and was only looking for numbers today - I did not plan on buying until Monday. Mr. Ladderbush asked me to call Ally, my current finance company for my payoff amount, which I did while we were sitting at his desk. As I was verifying my account information for Ally on my cell phone, Mr. Ladderbush quietly listened and as I confirmed my full SSN to Ally, again, via MY cell phone, he WROTE MY SSN DOWN ON THE BOTTOM RIGHT CORNER OF HIS DESK CALENDAR! He then went to the sales desk with my payoff amount, to wit the Sale MANAGER behind the desk stated to my salesman (there was no one else at the counter except David concerning me, so do the math) "Tell him to go shop elsewhere and then come back. I don't have time for this crap." Really, so apparently, since I was upfront and honest and that got me nowhere here. To David Ladderbush, I would highly recommend thinking twice before fraudulently submitting a credit app with my SSN you got from eavesdropping, and wrote on your desk calendar for all future customer to see. I would NEVER recommend this dealership to anyone - they apparently do not care about the customer, their personal info (as the salesman took it upon himself to steal that from me via eavesdropping), or the way their comments and actions make their prospective customers feel. More

Oh my goodness, this was such a pleasurable experience today! Tim Bennett was extremely professional, friendly and courteous, and very knowledgeable about the Jeep Wrangler that we purchased. He was very today! Tim Bennett was extremely professional, friendly and courteous, and very knowledgeable about the Jeep Wrangler that we purchased. He was very comfortable and easy to talk with. Tim was so organized that when my husband and I arrived, the Jeep had been serviced and sitting out in front of the dealership and all of the paperwork was in place. I would recommend him to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle at Lee Auto. I liked the way the front showroom was set up. I've been in other showrooms where one desk is on top of another and you get distracted with what's going on at the next desk/table. It was a very comfortable setting in which to do business. It was also a nice touch to have the finance manager, Gene Burchill, come down to the showroom to close the deal. The entire deal was done in about 15 minutes! Great experience guys!!! I recently visited Lee Dodge to buy a new van. We were already working with Berlin City looking at a Toyota Sienna (so far, the only cordial dealership we have visited besides Marc Motors). We decided to look at Dodge caravans because we own one currently AND their MSRP is significantly lower. We are experienced buyers that know MSRP is a starting point. Jon was average in friendliness and offered to install a backup camera for free, but unwilling to budge on MSRP. He brought over his sales manager who came with an intense air of intimidation. He came into the talk extremely rude, stating all of the usual crap that sales people say like "I can't budge. I'm already loosing money on this. You really want me to loose even more money on this deal?" Then he crossed the line of pushy and rude to manipulative and verbally abusive asking me if I really thought that MY business was worth him loosing any more money on this deal, all the while posturing and raising his voice in front of the other customers. He also stated, "I've heard that you have had struggles with other salesmen, but after hearing what you want to pay for this van I think the real problem isn't them but you." All of this over a request to lower the the price from the MSRP by 3,000 as a starting request. I would have walked out and avoided the sales manager's abuse but when they appraised my vehicle for a trade in they actually kept the keys - no escape. I am a longtime customer of their service department, but I'm not sure I want to hand over any type of money in the future. More
I haven't purchased a new car in over 20 years and it was painful back then buying a car. I don't know if it is Lee Auto and my salesman Dave Carter but it was a pleasure doing business with them. We purchased a new vehicle from Lee in Westbrook yesterday and let me tell you how amazing our salesman, Aaron Chase, was and how easy they made it for us. This is actually our second vehicle purchase from Lee in a little under a year. My 20 year old daughter needed a car. She needed a good reliable car because she is a single mom and works and goes to college. The first vehicle she wanted was not affordable for her, so our salesman, Aaron Chase, spoke to another man and they not only found a vehicle she could afford, but they found the perfect car for her!! She liked it better than the one she originally picked out!! The entire process from start to finish was incredibly easy. Aaron greeted us in the parking lot and showed us in and then offered us a beverage. He was not pushy and he was never insincere. He talked to us about our lives and he also shared with us about his life. It was like talking to a friend instead of a car salesman!! If you are thinking about purchasing a new or used car, go to Lee in Westbrook and ask for Aaron Chase!! I promise you that you will not regret it!! Oh and one more thing about purchasing a car from Lee... Your yearly state inspection for your car is free...FREE...every single year you own the car!! How many car dealerships do that? None that I know of, except for Lee!! They don't stop caring about you or your vehicle once you are out the door!! I'll never go anywhere else to purchase a vehicle except to Lee Dodge Chrysler Jeep in Westbrook, ME!!!!! More

He was focused on finding the right Jeep for me, and he got it ready to take home in a very short time. The next morning he delivered to my home all the items from the trunk of my old Jeep. The following day, he attached my new license plates at Lee Dodge Chrysler Jeep. He is all about providing great customer service, even after the sale! I recommend Aaron highly--A+ and 5 stars! More

Decided to buy a Jeep Wrangler last weekend, and after looking at various dealers' online inventory, headed up to Westbrook. After reading the reviews on this site, I was relieved that it was Dave Ladderbush who introduced himself. It's clear that Dave loves his job. We spent an hour or so looking at various models, features, colors, etc. Dave was patient, helpful and a pleasure to be with. Based on pricing from Edmunds, their first offer was very reasonable, and two hours later, we were on our way home in our new Wrangler. A really positive experience! More
