Worked with used car dept back in November, first i asked them to not run my credit as I already had set up financing from my credit union. They ran my credit anyway. Secondly, we were trading in a vehicle, i told them not to take off license plates or start transferring our vehicle to them until we were done with the deal. They did it anyway. We could not come to an agreement on buying a vehicle so we walked. SO glad we did. When it was time to renew registration we were told by tax office that our plates were invalid. The dealership put through paperwork before we signed the deal, so the state had our plates as invalid. Luckily we were not pulled over at any time as it would have shown we were driving illegally. Now we have to order new plates before we can renew our registration. We were told all paperwork would be discarded once we decided not to buy a car from them. They lied. I would not recommend dealing with this dealership for anything. More

Dealing with Leif Johnson Ford there was nothing not to like!! This dealership has restored my faith in buying a used vehicle from a dealership. On March 11th, 2026, I used the online chat to inquire about my vehicle for a trade in however I was upside down on it and my credit wasn't the greatest. Next think I know my phone rang and it was Kelly Burns a salesman. I told him of my situation and asked if I gave him my credit scores could they review them first before shot-gunning my credit to every lender in the world. (The first dealership I went to in Killeen didn't honor my request and sent my report to every lender and of course hard hits on your credit does affect you, it was Nyle Maxwell.) Mr. Burns told me they do not operate that way; they will look at my scores and from that they know which lender to use before doing a hard credit check. So, Mr. Burns sent the information to his team, and these people will not take NO from a lender!! Brian Hart the General sales Manager and Amanda Schrider-Rhodes the general Manager, they could have said sorry we can't do anything for you and left it at that. However, Kelly Burns, Brian Hart and Amanda worked very hard and long on this for 2 days and they finally convinced FMC to finance my vehicle. I was really impressed; I never received a phone call asking if I would be willing to settle for a lower priced vehicle or for a bigger down payment, I appreciated that. Kelly found me the exact vehicle I was looking for; 2012 F250 Platinum with low mileage. March 13th, I drove to Austin and met with Kelly, and he brought the truck around and it was beautiful!! The whole time I was there waiting to get everything completed, I was always informed of what was going on and always asked if I needed anything. Ryan Fisher was the finance manager, very nice and helpful, he had lunch catered in that day for his people and it arrived while I was in his office. I told Ryan go and get some lunch before it is all gone, he said nope. He was more concerned about making sure I understood everything and everything was signed properly, I don't know if he ever did get lunch lol. I wish I would of went there first, since I know better now, I will always go back to Leif Johnson Ford. I can't say enough how great everyone was to help make my dream come true. Thank you, Kelly, Brian, Amanda and Ryan you did a wonderful job. More
