But an 18-wheeler totaled my wife’s car (thankfully, she’s OK) and I turned to Charlie with some urgency for new wheels when we didn’t have time or patience to scour the market. Charlie LISTENED, found us just what we needed and put together a terrific deal for us. Price is but one element in the car buying experience. As customers we were treated with regard by everyone we met at Autopark Honda. And the atmosphere of the showroom is relaxed and pleasant, not pushy and stressful as I’ve seen other places. Touches like free oil changes for life are a big plus from the dealership. But it all came down to Charlie Bruce. He’s the Man. Getting past a totaled car is a tense time. I recently purchased a 2014 Honda Odyssey from Ronny Davis at Autopark Honda. My experience started out with a great quote from Casey in the internet department, which I knew was a very good price from Davis at Autopark Honda. Ronny made all other fees completely transparent from the very beginning, there were no surprises, and there were not too many extra fees over the internet quote. Ronny was very patient and helpful with getting my car seats in and out of the van and then back in my car so I could test drive with my baby in tow. He also had to put up with some crying and impatience from my children but handled it all in stride. The purchase experience was relatively fast, even on a Saturday. I did not need to finance the car, but we did have to rework the paperwork to add in a package with all-weather mats and it did not take long. In the meantime, another employee (wish I could remember his name) brought my kids the two biggest balloons they had ever seen and my son enjoyed some popcorn. Some aspects of the purchase were typical at any dealership- they initially gave me a very low offer on my trade-in, so I did need to break out my negotiating skills. I felt Ronny was very helpful in this process and it did not feel stressful at all. They did not bring in a "closer", which is a technique I hated at another dealership. At the point of purchase there was pressure in the finance office to buy some very pricey extra warranties that I didn't get a chance to look over in advance. I declined all. Accessories are a bit pricey and it would have been nice to get a discount on those with the car, but I did get a nice price on the mats through one package that was offered. I really felt that Ronny had my best interests in mind. He gave me great advice and made me feel comfortable at all times. I felt that he thought buying a new car should be fun and did everything he could to keep it that way. One van we test drove had a problem with the door that I didn't notice. He noticed it right away and got me a vehicle from another dealership in my preferred color. Overall this is the best sales experience I have ever had. I highly recommend Autopark Honda and Ronny Davis. I love the service department here as well, at the same time I was bringing in my husband's Honda for tires, they had a good price on tires in line with the "discount" places and offered me the best rated tires for the car. I look forward to bringing the van here for free oil changes for life! More
