After test driving a few models at various dealerships, researching our options online, and getting headaches from negotiating with other dealerships, we decided to start negotiating a deal with Charlie Br researching our options online, and getting headaches from negotiating with other dealerships, we decided to start negotiating a deal with Charlie Bruce at AutoPark Honda. We were pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to negotiate! While we were unable to make a deal on our first choice, I believe it only took a maximum of 90 minutes for us to reach a fair deal on second choice that was exactly within our budget. The reason the our first choice didn't work was because it simply didn't fit within our budget, and I was impressed that Charlie Bruce didn't try to push us to increase our monthly budget to make the deal work. Charlie Bruce was very professional and explained the deal very clearly, and even showed us the number breakdown, which helped us reevaluate what it would take to purchase the vehicle we wanted. With the final vehicle we purchased, we paid within +/- 0.5% of what Kelly Blue Book, Edmunds, and TrueCar listed the Fair Purchasing Price at. For such a popular vehicle, some might consider this an excellent deal! Since we visited many other dealerships in the same week, I was very pleased that we didn't need to explain or defend why we believed we shouldn't pay more than what is listed online. Charlie Bruce was very transparent with the negotiating process, and this was a welcome change from negotiating at other dealerships. Charlie Bruce even helped walk us through how some other dealerships will list a car at a lower price, but then have tons of hidden fees to add-on once you start negotiating; and explained why it's better at AutoPark Honda. More
