We searched other Honda dealers, and other car companies, but it was the overall experience w and they are the reason we worked with Auto Park Honda. Both were professional and took the time and patience to show me what the vehicle had to offer, and really listened to what I needed to fit MY life. I would recommend both to future car buyers. My only problem with the experience was in finance with Vinnie, which I understand has an open disclosure policy to make sure all buyers are aware of all car options, however, I felt like even when we said we weren't interested in an extra package, it was pushed again on us, and this was the only time at the dealer I felt like I was being pressured, and with a salesman that wasn't listening to me and my needs (in which case I said multiple times I could not afford additional packages). This tainted my experience somewhat, particularly at the end when we were finished in finance and about to go to my new car, and the fiance manager rushed out and told me rudely that I did not give him the check (being a first time car buyer I didn't know when, or to whom, I should hand my check over to). He could have joked about it, but instead his tone and comment made it seem like it was "my fault" that the check was not handed over to him (even though he was the one who forgot to ask). More

This was my second new Odyssey purchase with Don Hillenbrand. I remembered Don from our last experience 5 years ago and asked to work with him again. We had a great experience with Charlie Bruce as our sales person. We started just wanting to explore our options and to check out different cars one morning. Charlie was very understanding the fact that we were just trying to figure out our options. Gave us his card and promised us that he would not call or email us to bother us unless we want him to. We thought he was just saying that and to our surprise that he did not try to pressure and call/email us like he had promised. Once we have decided to purchase the car, we went back to Charlie and his experience makes the tedious paper work process a easy process and we had a great time buying a car. Much different from what we were expecting. More

I am a Honda car lover. Had a 2000 Accord that I was the only owner of, but it was time for it to go after 11 years. It wasn't so easy to get in & out of after 2 separate back surgeries so having something only owner of, but it was time for it to go after 11 years. It wasn't so easy to get in & out of after 2 separate back surgeries so having something "higher" so that I didn't have to squat to get in was important. Than to have a sun roof & navi system. I did a lot of research looking at all of the crossover SUV's on the market & came out to the dealer late on a Tuesday night to just get a "feel" of the car & loved it! I preferred the EX version over the EX-L because I despise leather seats; not fun to get in them w/ our NC summers! I asked Christopher on the first night if it was possible to have the navi system put in the EX & he said yes, so my top 3 things were a go. I told Christopher right up front I am a take my time kind of person, not a drive off the lot the same day, and he just asked if he could have my contact info and gave me his and said have a nice evening I hope to hear from you soon. I called the next day & said I wanted to drive it for a bit & the next day came out & took a 20 min test drive. After the test drive I told him to start working out the best deal with the navi system & give me a call, for my sister & her family were coming in from out of town for Christmas so I didn't have time to sit around. He called back about an hour later & gave me price that didn't include the navi, because it just wasn't available. This was a true bummer, for it was 1 of my top 3 things, but he went the extra mile & had 2 other options for me after calling around to see who could install an in-dash navi system. I of course was really disappointed so I told him that I needed to think about it & I would call back before close. I did, and because I was now going to have to have the navi system installed by someone other than Honda I wanted a lower price. He was with another customer & said he would get back to me. He sent me an email late so I knew that he had removed the car from the lot and was still on it but would need to talk to his sales manager in the morning and would give me a call than. With a little compromise we had an agreeable price within 10 minutes & I walked away with a GREAT deal on my 2011 CRV & an all around GREAT customer service experience. Just when I thought everything was going to be done, my step mom tells me that if we could get a fair price on my Dad's car who had just passed away 3 weeks earlier, I could use that towards my trade in, so I put a new spin on a deal that we already had settled and it didn't even phase him. My Dad had a special ordered 2009 Dodge Challenger, which after the men spent some time looking over, and dealing with a very emotional decision of getting rid of a car that meant the world to my Dad, they gave me a what my step mom and I would deem as a fair trade. Vinnie, the finance guy, even helped my step mom with forms to get a refund on the extended warranty he had purchased, which was something he didn't have to do. We were in a bit of a rush to get to the Hurricanes game, for my sister had come into town with her family so we didn't have to do Christmas alone. Christopher was really cool and he told me to just come back on Monday and he would help me with any questions I had about the car, and I can tell you after 1 day there is going to be plenty! If you are a single woman who despise car shopping so much that you usually send a man to do it for you are take 1 with you, I can tell you if you ask for Christopher and lay out your expectations up front, he will listen and not walk all over you! This is the first car in 42 years I bought all by myself. I went with a man and ended up telling him I could put my big girl pants on and do it all on my own, and walked away thinking I got a GREAT deal and had a GREAT experience. More
