A clean workspace can limit callbacks My wife and I brought our 2012 Jeep Rubicon in because a check engine light was on indicating the vehicle wasn't reaching proper operating temps. The My wife and I brought our 2012 Jeep Rubicon in because a check engine light was on indicating the vehicle wasn't reaching proper operating temps. The techs discovered and repaired the problem which was great but we had a few other things done while the vehicle was in. The techs discovered that the trans pan was leaking so they repaired it and changed the trans filter as well but they left a mess where that work was completed. When I looked under the vehicle the next day there appeared to be a substantial leak coming from the transmission area because there was fluid dripping off the skid plate and surrounding areas. I climbed under the Jeep to inspect for a leak and wiped up puddles of trans fluid that had accumulated on top of the skid plate. I spent the next 30 to 45 mins driving the then rechecking to finally come to the conclusion tha th it was old fluid that was just left to go wherever as we drove. I almost called back to the dealer but thankfully it wasn't necessary. More
