"horrible"

I brought my vehicle for back bumper work from an accident. It was there almost 2 weeks. I picked it up at closing on Friday 11/20. They were nice enough to agree to touch up a little scratch I had on the car.I looked at the touch up and said it looked worse than before. I was told when I came back for the emblem that wasn't there yet he would touch it up himself. On the way home I noticed a white patch on the driver door panel. When I got home under better light I notice an extra longer scratch with touch up paint on it. I called and explained the white patch that looked like paint and the extra scratch that was not there before and was told they would take care of it. In daylight the next morning I noticed 2 more paint spots in the car. I called for the manager. I had to bring the car back on 11/24. I was called later in the day on 11/24 the car is ready to pick up. They had to order a new door panel and I was told It was not paint but gum on the door panel but they will fix it anyway. I don't understand this is a brand new car I only had 4 months. I know there was nothing on the inside when I dropped my car off that comment is unacceptable to me. All I wanted wanted was to get my car fixed not all this aggravation and inconvenience. Now I have to go back and forth for extra damage. I am disgusted with this service.

"I dropped my truck off back on Jan 23rd after being..."

I dropped my truck off back on Jan 23rd after being involved in accident. My insurance company (Progressive) set up the repairs with Lester Glenn Collision. The truck was to be finished in two weeks. We did not here from anyone regarding our truck for two weeks. We then proceeded to called Lester Glenn collision to check the status of the truck. We left several messages with the collision center but never received call backs. Finally, I got through to someone and find out no work was being done on my truck. I then proceed to inquire why it hasn’t been worked on. We were told no work could be done on the truck until the insurance company gives the OK. We understand the steps but why didn’t Lester Glenn call us and give us an update. We could have contacted the insurance company to see what the hold up was but instead my truck sat for two weeks with nothing being done. Now if that wasn’t bad enough we were told the truck would be complete on Wed the 20th Of Feb. No problem. My wife called to tell Lester Glenn she was unable to pick up the truck on Wed due to other commitments. They said no problem you can pick it up on Thursday. I took off Wed and called to see if I can pick up the truck. Lester Glenn proceed to tell me the truck wasn’t ready because they wanted to wash, wax and clean the truck. I thought that would be good. The next day my wife called(Thursday) to set up a pick up time. She was told the truck needs another part and it should be in by this afternoon. How are you going to lie to me by saying you are cleaning the truck but actually still repairing it? Not good customer service. I didn’t end up getting the truck back until Friday still not complete. We are still waiting for the push bar to come in. I called on Wed or Thur (Feb 27 or 28th) to see if the push bar was in. I then found out the push bar was not even ordered yet. They could not find the push bar we wanted for the truck. That would have been nice to know considering my wife went into Lester Glenn and showed them exact part and where to get it. Now it would have been nice if someone would have contacted us about the part. Never happened. Now my wife contacts the insurance company and they claim to have ordered the part and it should be here Monday Mar 4th. My insurance company is telling me one thing and Lester Glenn is telling me another. Everyone was quick to take our deductible but we aren’t getting the results required by Lester Glenn. It is now the 7th of Mar and we are still waiting for the push bar. We were told the push bar would be in on Monday Mar 4th. Never came in. I contacted Lester Glenn again to find out the push bar will be here on Tuesday or Wed. Never happened. My wife calls Thur (Mar 7th) to see what the status of the push bar. She was told the have the push bar but don't have the lights for it. They claim by Tues (Mar12) we will be able to bring the truck in to be finished. It has been a nightmare dealing with Lester Glenn. I would not recommand this company to anyone *****UPDATE****** As of March 19, 2013..... After writing this letter and contacting other individuals at Lester Glenn Collision, the work on my truck has been completed. Thank Goodness. In the end they did attempt to "make it right". I acknowledge that not everything goes as planned and that things do happen that can't be controlled. However, this was chaos. I was compensated, but was then asked to go online and update this post. WHAT? That conversation should have never happened. It should be up to me whether or not I want to update this post. To make it better, I was asked at least 2 more times to update it before it posts. End result, I am glad this is over with. And by the way, I am changing insurance companies as well because of this issue.
