Picked up a Lexus GX 550. Khaled Abuharus is an absolutely fantastic individual. This is where respectful and customer centric interactions ended. There was a roof rack that came on the vehicle, we asked if there is something that we could be worked out in removing the roof rack that would be mutually beneficial for both parties. A “sales manager” named Dave Alengi was quite arrogant, rude and not professional to us that we even asked if there is something we could work out. Dave Alengi was pretty quick to tell us that we were just lucky to be getting a GX at MSRP. Dave Alengi was very proud to tell us that he was right and we were wrong. Days of mark ups are over, GX’s are sitting on dealer lots out west. If a customer is giving you their hard earned money, at least find the decency to be respectful and conduct yourself like a professional. Swallow your pride and useless arrogance. Dave Alengi is in no shape to coach or teach anyone, but should learn how to treat people with respect. Instead, Dave Alengi should visit Land Rover of Denver which is a Hollman dealership also and learn how to conduct himself in a professional manner. Next was the “technology specialist”, who could not be more annoyed that he had to walk us through how the car functions, he was really not happy that he had to do his job. I bought a GX CPO from this dealership and they knowingly sold me a vehicle with substantial rust. After receiving a customer satisfaction survey from the GM, Bill Lamphere, and General Sales Manager, Scott sold me a vehicle with substantial rust. After receiving a customer satisfaction survey from the GM, Bill Lamphere, and General Sales Manager, Scott Mendelsohn, I reached out for help to treat and protect the undercarriage and they said no. But they offered to trade in and buy another vehicle from them. No thank you. Buyer beware of this dealer. Do not recommend. Do better Bill and Scott. Disclose if a vehicle has rust and let us, as the buyer, make the decision. Be honest or take accountability and help your customers be satisfied. You are Lexus and you are selling “certified” rusted vehicles. More
