We had an appointment to test drive and potentially purchase a vehicle. I was texting with a women who knew that we were on our way. Upon arrival we were handed off to a less than enthusiastic individu purchase a vehicle. I was texting with a women who knew that we were on our way. Upon arrival we were handed off to a less than enthusiastic individual. After being left to sit at his desk he reappeared to let us know that our car had been sold earlier that day. He had a black model he wanted to show me. My car was white. He proceeded to explain to me how difficult it would be to find a white car like the one that had been sold earlier. I declined his attempt to show me the black car and suddenly without missing a beat he said that he did have a white car like the one that I had come in to purchase. He then asked me if I was planning to buy or was I just looking. It seemed to me that we had arrived at a bad time as his attention was divided. The test drive: I told him that I had a 2010 white Acura MDX that I purchased brand new. He really didn't seem all that interested in that information. I had watched some reviews on-line about the current technology so I managed to open the door but when I got in to turn the car on, I turned it off :/ I was immediately reprimanded for doing that. I have never driven a hybrid vehicle and but he should have known that through a thorough meet and greet process but as I stated before he didnt seem all that interested in us. Anyway, I felt robbed of the experience of turning my new hybrid car on for the first time and couldn't care less at that point if I went home with a car or not. I am happy that the negotiations fell through. I will be buying a new car from a different Lexus dealership. More
