I had my first 5,000 checkup this past week and I was told it would take about 1 1/2 hours. When I told my technician I wanted them to check the back-kick and front door lock (they didnt find anything wr told it would take about 1 1/2 hours. When I told my technician I wanted them to check the back-kick and front door lock (they didnt find anything wrong with it), he changed the estimated time to 3 1/2 - 4 hours and he offered me a loaner car. It took over 4 hours, so I'm glad I took the loaner. The paperwork I signed said if I didnt fill up the tank to the starting point, they would charge me for the gas. Well, they charged me OVER $7.50 PER GALLON. Highway robbery. I have ALS and didnt want to have to fill up the car. So, I figured at most it would be $5 per gallon. Wrong, my credit card was charged $15.75 AFTER I left the dealership. No where on the paperwork did it say they would charge me over $7.50 per gallon. In hindsight I guess I should have asked. When I called the service rep after I left to discuss the charge, no answer and he hasnt called me back yet. In the past, I don't recall Lexus charging us gas on a loan if you only used two gallons. Very, Very disappointed. After having my car for so long, the outside of my car was not cleaned very well. The service rep gave me some excuse. This is my first service call at Palm Beach Lexus and I'm not very happy with this policy. More
