Very satisfactory/enjoyable experience . Our sales person, Scott, was wonderful. We were not in the market for a Jeep. We were looking for a Chrysler 200. Told me to go somewhere else and buy a Ford! I am a recent college graduate looking to lease my first car, came to Lia interested in the Jeep Compass. Sat down with Gerry to go over numbers. Told I am a recent college graduate looking to lease my first car, came to Lia interested in the Jeep Compass. Sat down with Gerry to go over numbers. Told him I am in between a Ford Edge and the Jeep Compass, both cars are in similar price ranges. Gerry told me that since this is my first time leasing, I basically can not afford the Jeep (never asked me about my income) since I do not have someone to co-sign a lease with me. I told him my credit score which is well above the credit score Gerry mentioned was needed to qualify for most leasing options. He wouldn’t run my report, saying that it will be an awkward/tough conversation to have when I get denied, and that I will most likely be denied because my “portfolio” is so thin since I have never leased a car before. He didn’t even give me a chance to try to work out a deal with him, and actually told me I should stop looking at the Jeep and go and get the Ford Edge!!!! Why would you turn a customer away like that?! Lia is not welcoming to first time buyers and to recent college grads. I left this lia dealer, went straight to Fuccillo Chrysler in Amsterdam where I was approved right away and left that night with a lease for my brand new Jeep Compass for a MUCH better price!! Lia has lost my business and my family’s business, I will never recommend this dealer, or any Lia dealer to anyone. Go to Fuccillo! Very friendly, accommodating, and willing to work with you to get the deal that works best for you. More
