The non-refundable down payment we ask for exists to protect both the buyer (we commit to secure the guests production slot in the order the down payment was received) and us, as the dealer, since regardless if a guest takes delivery of the order or not, we will be receiving it from Winnebago and will incur the costs associated with that. The details are of this are spelled out clearly on our purchase agreement in addition to being provided by any sales consultant. After we receive a deposit we provide regular communication as we receive it from Winnebago regarding delivery date and production timing. We have a transparent and simple sales and delivery process. While we understand you may not be happy having to forego your deposit, we are simply following through on the agreement that you signed. - Ron Lichtsinn

We regard every comment as important in our ability to make improvements to processes and ensure we provide best of class service to our guests. I have reviewed all of our discussions with you in our Customer Database System. Non-refundable down payments protect the buyer and the seller in a purchase of this size - you will never hear that our dealership called a guest to let them know that their refundable down payment will be returned, and their ordered RV will be sold to a new buyer at a higher price, or many other scenarios that occur to the detriment of the buyer, when down payments are refundable. Our policy is clearly listed on the purchase agreement and throughout the purchase process. We tried working with you to extend the timing of your purchase to a time that might better work for you.

Good afternoon - Just as we've spoken before, we would certainly never swap out a unit from one that was purchased and diligently honor our certified pre-owned program and everything that is included in it. What you are describing is untrue, offensive and simply not how we operate. A simple verification with the VIN on your purchase agreement validates what we are saying. We are sorry you were not happy but did work with you immediately and diligently to address any and all concerns that you shared with us and you did not show up for the follow up appointment that was scheduled to address any remaining concerns. I guess you know who you are responding to for you to pull up my purchase agreement. I did not use my real name. You are a lier and a thief. In just going thru my service packets I find a Service and Warranty Information 2014 brochure with your great friends the Rogers, Mike and Elle, and MY VIN number listed inside. You know, I know, your whole staff knows. And apparently ONLY your staff are able to properly read a VIN. You DID make me an appointment but you couldn't possibly fit me in until AFTER the 60 day pre-owned date. Another way to get more of my hard earned money. Do you want to go to court???
