I initially brought my car in for an error message and was told I needed to replace 2 struts. I had Extended Warranty through TriCare and the service advisor spoke with them to get approval before the wo was told I needed to replace 2 struts. The total invoice was $2142.24 and the service advisor told me my portion would be approximately $400 and the remaining balance would be covered by TriCare. I paid $416.80 once the work was completed and took my vehicle. A week later the dealership called me and informed me they were having trouble depositing the cheque from TriCare, and asked if I could pay the whole invoice and have the Warranty company reimburse me personally. I requested an email stating that I would be reimbursed if for any reason payment from TriCare was not reimbursed. Once I received the email from service advisor, I reluctantly paid the remaining amount $1725.44 ($2142.44 total). The cheque I received from TriCare was $1725.44 CAD which equates to approximately $1250 USD leaving me short roughly $460 USD. I spoke to the service advisor and service manager and I was informed that they will not reimburse me the difference. I should only have to pay the $416.80 that was originally quoted to me and agreed upon, now I am paying more than double that amount. This is completely unacceptable as I have to pay for the service department not doing their due diligence and especially since I have an email from them stating I would be reimbursed if TriCare did not reimburse me. Truly disappointed and I do not recommend Lincoln South Coast for service. More
Any Dealership or a business for that matter is only as good as the people working there. My overall experience with Lincoln South Coast was amazing. I drove my Navigator all the way from east coast to wes good as the people working there. My overall experience with Lincoln South Coast was amazing. I drove my Navigator all the way from east coast to west coast and needed to service my vehicle. They did an amazing job and had my vehicle ready in time. Even though I had not booked a loaner they were willing and offered me an alternate vehicle while mine was being serviced. This is called customer service!!! Jason was very professional, helpful and easy to work with. While I was waiting the Greeter (Mr. Burce) offered me refreshments. Bruce is an amazing person. The whole team at Lincoln South Coast is awesome. This is one of the best Lincoln Dealerships I have visited in a long time. More
