There are (4) issues with this dealership of which we had been asked to give 5 stars to in the beginning by the sales guy Donald BEFORE any of these issues occurred. So, my wife & I came in on Sunday Nov 7t been asked to give 5 stars to in the beginning by the sales guy Donald BEFORE any of these issues occurred. So, my wife & I came in on Sunday Nov 7th to look at a vehicle and had called ahead of time to setup a meeting. Set down talked to Donald the sales guy and then the sales manager Miguel, came to explain the rates and I asked him about the "Blazer Package" they had that is an additional $2500.00 on top of the price, hidden from the price they advertise online of course. He tells us about the plan and that oil changes or anything can be used at ANY Chevy dealership. We live nearly 2 hrs away so this was nice to hear. Well after we get all the way to the finance department, I asked that guy about it to just to confirm and he said no it has to be done there or at any other Lindsay Dealership. This "Sales Manager" Miguel, obviously needs to re-learn the BS they are selling instead of giving out wrong information just to make a sale. Second issue, while in with the Finance department the guy who was very nice, couldn't seem to pull up our per-qualified no hassle information from Capital One. The interest rate was much better with Capital One then what he was finding for us. He pretended to play with the numbers and I again told him we wanted to go with Capital One. He claimed it was "Pending" in the system and had no other answer. We should have walked out then because we're sure that wasn't the case as the dealerships get kickbacks from the banks for using them. Again, the issue here was this phantom "Pending" from a bank we were already fully approved for at a much better rate than. Yes, we realize the dealership isn't the bank, but again it's all for the sale & kickbacks the dealerships get from the banks. Third issue, AFTER we had signed everything and was given tags to give to Donald, the sales manager Miguel, then decides to come over and tell us that the "Inspection Sticker" for VA wasn't on the SUV and that their certificated mechanic needed to put this sticker on before the vehicle could leave the lot. This was at 10pm at this point 3 hrs into this deserter of an experience with Lindsay Chevrolet. He told us to tell him when we needed the vehicle at our home which again is nearly 2 hrs away and he would have it brought down by then. We told him by 10am as we have things to do at 11am and Miguel said no problem at all and it would even be detailed again in the morning as some spots were missed by the cleaning crew (which was never done). Both the sales manager Miguel and sales person Donald reassured us we'd see them in the morning. Fourth issue, Today Nov 8th my wife texts the sales guy Donald to make sure he has the address and all is good as we needed to leave at a certain time today. She gets a text back from the sales person Donald claiming he now has a meeting at 9:30am and they will bring it down as soon as they can. Excuse me!? We just talked not 10 hrs ago with both him & the clueless sales manager Miguel and were told it would be there by 10am no problem. This was the dealerships screw up on this sticker to begin with and not only did all of the other things happen listed above, now they can't keep a promise to have the vehicle to us after fully agreeing to do so. In conclusion, we realize things happen and don't always work as planned but as the 4 issues above fully show, this dealership in particular, along with its staff and manager are simply worried about making a sale. They could care less about the customer once things are signed. We have yet to hear from the sales guy or anyone and it is now 10:05am on when they will be here. Unacceptable and we will be contacting the Better Business Bureau & Lindsay Cooperate as this is NOT how you treat customers but apparently is how they do business. Update: as of 11am on November 8th, after speaking to the sales manager Shawn, we learned this vehicle actually was never inspected which is why it didn't have any sticker on it and there was an issue with a seat belt. Just another lie from the sales manager Miguel. All to make the sale. Avoid this place whatever you do. We finally talked to a head manager supposedly named Coslyn who was friendly and at least put on the act of caring and promised to look into all the issues listed above as it wasn’t acceptable. Again, another show put on as the customer is far from their priority once papers are signed. We had asked the manager Coslyn, for some type of compensation or something as we had already put 10K down and had to cancel a doctor’s appointment because we were waiting on them. But this was an afterthought to them as once the paperwork was signed the night before we weren’t a priority any longer regardless of the promises made. Coslyn’s answer was we could simply cancel the sale completely since we (the customers) weren’t happy. Instead of showing any type of leadership to make things somewhat right and any companion for their customer’s time and multiple issues had, he was happy with just cancelling the sale completely. Again, this shows nothing but pure greed from this dealership and that they care nothing for their customers. More
Worst. Bought a vehicle and the told me it would take 3 hours. 7 hours later I'm still there. I get home and realize that they didnt give me all my documentation or my second key fob. I was visiting from N.C.when an unexpected brake problem reared it's ugly head. I didn't know what to expect since I was from out of town. I have worked at dealerships my entire career. (I am now retired) reared it's ugly head. I didn't know what to expect since I was from out of town. I have worked at dealerships my entire career. (I am now retired) The service I received was more professional than any I have seen. Thanks Joshua Miller for making my service experience a pleasant one. More
