I have always owned my own cars, making high monthly payments is always something that has made me kind of uneasy. And I’m a Sudan/SUV type of person so none of the cars I’ve looked at wouldn’t be on th payments is always something that has made me kind of uneasy. Made sure I understood insurance and how paying on time+ paying over the amount you owe will raise your credit (which is such a plus for me, credit runs everything). Left with a Jeep 8 years newer than the youngest car I’ve had. More

I purchased my car from Lindsay Chevrolet on 8/2/21. It was an easy sale because I knew I wanted a Buick Encore (I’d previously driven one) and they had one available. So, the car is NOT the issue. With that said, I am absolutely disgusted with this dealership. They went against my wishes for their own gain. They were sneaky, disingenuous, and ignored my request as the customer. No customer should feel the way I do right now. From the moment I spoke to my salesperson Ali Imran on the phone before arriving at the dealership, I informed him that I had secured my own financing through my personal bank, Bank of America and intended to use it for the vehicle. I provided him with the paperwork provided to me for the loan. A short while later, I spoke with another man who came to discuss payments. I informed him that I had my own financing. He was given my paperwork too. They ran my credit again and they didn’t have to. My credit is impeccable hence the reason I got my own financing (I didn’t know this at the time, until days later when I got an alert). Later I go into the finance office of Chiny Obiorah, a “Mark of Excellence Award Winner” more like scammer, fake and liar. I continued to insure him that I had my own financing. He had the paperwork from my bank in hand. He knew how much my loan was, we talked about it. I know it takes some time to hear from your loan provider, but this took too long given I had secured a loan already. Today 8/18, I got a loan payment book from Fifth Third Bank to make payments to. What happened to Bank of America? The bank I secured financing through. I looked over my paperwork again only to notice that NO WHERE on all the pages I left the dealership with does it say any financial institution. I am livid and disgusted by the unmitigated gall for this organization to defy my request and do what they wanted to do. More
This dealership lied to me by telling me the car was available on Saturday morning to make me show up in person with the truth being that the car had already been sold on Friday!! I double checked twice in the morning before I get out of my door to make sure the car was available so I wouldn't waste my time and money getting there. Because I checked the inventory in the morning and the car was no longer listed. Both contacts confirmed the car was still available. I spent $50 and 50 minutes to Uber there just because of this lie and they don't have another good car to show me. I am really disappointed of this dealship and will never buy cars there. This is not a good business and it ruins the reputation. More
