It’s all about quantity not quality. Took my ‘16 Ram 2500 Cummins in for an oil change, a “mini detail” that was no more than a basic wash, and two recalls that required them plugging int Took my ‘16 Ram 2500 Cummins in for an oil change, a “mini detail” that was no more than a basic wash, and two recalls that required them plugging into the truck and downloading new software into my trucks computer. My appointment was at 8am and now it was 445pm. I hadn’t heard from the dealership all day, so I needed to plan the rest of my evening. So I called the service department to find out a timeline. The lady told me John was handling the stuff being done on my truck. So she asked me to hold. So I did for like 5-7 minutes before he picked up. I told him who I was and was just wondering on the status so I could better plan the rest of my day. Hey sighed rudely and told me to hang on. 7-10 minutes later he gets back on the line and, again, rudely says it’s being washed right now. It’ll be done by closing time. Oook. So I pick up my truck, the “mini detail” I paid for looked like a basic wash. Two miles down the road I notice my traction control light was on. It was too late to turn around, so I called John first thing the next morning to tell him about the traction control light. AGAIN, rudely sighs and ask how soon I could be there. I said within the hour. He replied WELL HURRY UP. I get there, give him my key fob, and take a seat in the waiting area. Luckily my wife showed up thinking I needed a ride. Because John walked up and asked if I still had the speedo and transmission calibrator that came with my truck when I bought it new in 16 because of the 37in tires the dealer put on my truck. I replied yes, but it’s at my house. He just looked at me...I asked do you want me to go get it? He looked at me like I was a toddler and said that would be nice, sarcastically. So my wife and I jump in her car, run home, and come back to the dealership with the programmer. By this time my truck was parked up front. I walked up to John to hand him the programmer, and he just looked at me with a blank look. I asked him you want me to reprogram my truck? He says sarcastically that’d be nice. And continues with reprogram it, drive it around, and if the light doesn’t go away bring it back. I reprogrammed my truck in the dealers lot, light went out right away, so I just left. Didn’t want to deal with him again. Luckily, Don, the service manager (great guy by the way) made it right for me on my next visit. I’m not normally a customer that xxxxxxx about stuff. But if you’re business relies on repeat business or on referrals, then you better make sure each customer is taken care of no matter how F**king busy you are. Up until this point I’ve had a great relationship with Lithia Of Tri Cities, and my wife and I have spent ALOT of money here. In the next five to six months I’ll be in the market again for another new truck...who knows if I’ll come back. More
