I was not aware of the recall as of yet and he addressed the repair while my vehicle was being serviced for the scheduled recall. I did received the additional recall notice a few days later in the mail. So it saved me from having to schedule additional service appoiontment! Great, until you leave the lot with a leaky vehicle Bought a used truck. It was high miles so I expect maintenance down the road. I did not expect to drive home a vehicle leaking oil though. The morning after I drove it home, I noticed fresh oil spots on my driveway (which had none before). They agreed to look at it and told me that after looking underneath it and thoroughly inspecting it, that it had no leaks. I was thrilled until now, a week later, I've noticed numerous oil spots under and was even able to see fresh oil leaking off the oil pan under the car. Not sure what they did, but it definitely wasn't looked at very thoroughly, if at all. Now I have a leaky car that's 2 weeks old and needs repaired. I've been very, very patient and calm, but they're now treating me like an irate customer and haven't responded in 3 days. More

If you need recall work done, go somewhere else! This morning my son took his Ford Ranger in to have Lithia Ford do the work in the recall notice he received recently. He had made an appointment and This morning my son took his Ford Ranger in to have Lithia Ford do the work in the recall notice he received recently. He had made an appointment and they said it wouldn't take long. When he dropped it off at 8:30 AM, they said it would be ready in 2 - 3 hours. At noon they said they needed another hour. at 2:00, they said it was still in the shop. It's 11:30 at night now, and we assume they might get around to finishing the job tomorrow. Either nobody in the shop was trained to do this recall procedure, or they don't do recall work unless there is nothing else in the shop that needs done. I bought a new car 3 weeks ago from a competitor, and I can't imagine them treating a customer this way. Lithia Ford is doing a great job convincing us that we will never go there again for anything, but maybe that's what they were hoping for. More
